<3<3-The screen fades in to the Chicago home of Brandon Bailey. The blinds are drawn showing the floor to ceiling high windows. The sun beams through the large windows illuminating the Michigan Ave. condo with a natural light. The television, set to the All Wrestling Channel, is showing the latest comments from Eddie Towne on Sunday's match. For some reason, the television's volume is turned all the way up, blaring the belching, card shuffling, and talking of Eddie Towne. As the Sin City Saint starts to talk about the different hands in poker that Brandon used in his last comments, the screen suddenly freezes. Brandon comes walking from the back wearing a pair of white basketball shorts, no shoes, and a towel around his neck. The superstar has beads of water on his body and his hair is soaked letting you know that he just got out of the shower. In his right hand he holds the TiVo control aimed at the screen. Brandon replays the comments from Saint, and pauses it again. He then looks at the camera and says...<3<3
I finally got ya' attention huh Towne? Ya' finally decided ta' act like ya' have some fire unda' ya' ass. It's about damn time! I was gettin' sick and tired of waitin' for ya' ta' show me tha' real you. I was sick and tired of wonderin' when I was gonna' strike a nerve in that body of yours. I can't stand a weak challenge, and up until now, ya' felt like a weak challenge. Ya' felt like a waste of my time, but I was still gonna' lay into ya' like it was a championship match. No prisona's, no chances, all in. That's how I've wrestled every damn match in tha' eighteen years of hell that I put myself through. I told ya' Towne, I'm not a poka' playa', so ya' strategy really doesn't relate ta' me. I can't be played...I don't fall fa' bluffs. I've been in this business too long ta' be played by some punk ass kid who thinks he has a shot at me. Besides, how can ya' play me? Ya' said it ya'self Towne...I leave no openin's. How can ya' play a man who leaves no margin' of error in tha' ring? Ya' can't. I don't bluff, so there's no callin' anything here.
<3<3-Brandon plays more of Towne's comments and freezes the TiVo again. He shakes his head and continues...<3<3
Ya' know what's so funny right now? I'll tell ya'. Towne says that tha' chances of me gettin' a straight flush while he has four of a kind is one percent. He's right, it's not a lot, but that's all I need. One percent is all I need ta' end tha' match. One percent is all I need ta' make ya' wonder why tha' hell ya' stepped in tha' ring with tha' measurin' stick of this miserable business. One percent means that no matta' what's in front of me, I have a chance ta' win. I live my life by that one percent chance. Ya' can't control destiny Eddie. Ya' have no control ova' the hand that ya' dealt in poka', tha' ring, or life. Since my destiny is ta' be at tha' top, that one percent chance is meant fa' me. Not you! What makes ya' think that you have control ova' my destiny?! What makes ya' think that chances are only meant fa' you?! What about me?! What about Bailey?! I talk about tha' mountain top because I've been there. I've seen tha' burnin' bush like Moses and I've spoken ta' God himself. He told me that I'm destined ta' be at tha' top of this wrestlin' moutain. He told me that I will pave new ground whereva' I go and that no man will get in my way. People try ta' stop me, try ta' take my burnin' bush away from me, try ta' rob me of my destiny! It's my destiny and not yours ta' take. <<Pats his stomach three times>> Destiny is my belt right now Towne...once tha' ROI belt is introduced, then that will take tha' physical representation of my destiny. Right now ya' can't see my belt because only those who have been to tha' top can see it. Ya' not strong enough, ya' don't have enough experience, and ya' not on my level. Stop tryin' ta' fight it. Accept it, unda'stand it; it will make tha' loss so much easia' on ya'.
<3<3-Brandon grabs the towel around his neck with both hands and walks over to the windows. He stares outside for a moment, allowing the suns rays to beam off of his body, giving an almost glowing illusion or aura. He turns around, looks back at the camera, and says...<3<3
This is my city Towne...Chicago. This is where tha' world's first skyscrapa' was built. Tha' first! Not second, third, or even current tallest. I think my city tells a lot about me. It lets ya' know right off that I'll be tha' first ta' look ova' top everyone in this business. Fa' years ta' come, I will be the design and marka' that everyone will follow or attempt ta' surpass. I know that it will happen someday, but not now, and not by you Towne. Chicago also doesn't have any gambling because this town is about business. We are a city of worka's that don't put on a bulls**t front fa' anybody. It's also tha' murda' capital of tha' world, with tha' highest murda' per capita' rate anywhere. That means that we don't play games, are serious in everything we do, and go ta' great lengths ta' achieve that goal. Sunday, don't play with me Towne. Don't try ta' use any of ya' poka' mind games or bluffs. If ya' do, ya' might find ya'self face down in a ditch somewhere broken, bloodied, and battered. Do I still have ya' attention? Are ya' listenin'? I hope so, fa' ya' own good. Stop tryin' ta' climb my ladda' and my mountain top. Stop thinkin' that ya' have a chance in this match. Play it safe, stay at home, keep ya' chips and don't gamble at my table. Go to tha' Bellagio or tha' Palms and quit while ya' ahead because you'll lose when ya' gamble with me. Ya' may have a few hits and lucky streaks, but keep this in mind...I'm tha' house Eddie, and rememba', in tha' end, tha' house always wins no matta' what.
<3<3-The screen fades out with Brandon still standing at the window with the sun beaming off his back.<3<3
