<<Thoughts from a dweller of the past, Justin Tyme:
*Strobe lights flash on the inside of what looks to be a night club. Several men and women are dancing with strobes flashing red, green, blue, and almost every other color of the rainbow. Music throbs through the club with the volume cranked to the max. A disc jockey sits at a table with a light ball sitting on the edge of the table, blaring the sounds of generic rap music throughout the entire club which the people are dancing to. A man wearing glistening silver pants and a matching silver jacket over a black shirt walks to the DJ and tells him to take off. The man has short black hair with silver framed sunglasses and black lenses. The man flicks a switch on the table and the lights in the club go up and the strobes shut off. The man activates another switch creating smoke on the dance floor. The man tears off his jacket to reveal the letters “JT” on the upper right of the black shirt. The man takes his sunglasses off to reveal the light green eyes of the newest oldest Valor superstar, Justin Tyme. Justin has a folder in his hands with some scribbled writing on it. Justin grabs the headset the DJ was wearing and begins to address the entire club.*
JT: Now before I start break dance fighting everyone, clear the floor. Platinum JT is going to show everyone here a thing or two about music and dancing.
*JT takes out a large black object from the folder and places it on the DJ’s turn table. A more up beat song pumps through the club as Justin begins to dance but it looks more like a frantic flailing of his arms. The song is “Jump On It” by Sir Mix-A-Lot and apparently, JT really loves the song. JT dances to the song for a couple of minutes before doing back to back standing moonsaults, landing on his feet followed by a standing 450 to which he lands on his feet. The crowd erupts in cheers as they flood the dance floor to dance with JT. JT then jumps in the air and does a spin kick, kicking a clubber in the face. JT had been smiling before but now has a look of anger on his face. The crowd had been cheering JT but are now expressionless and let out a gasp at what JT has just done. JT looks very frustrated as he looks into the eyes of as many people around him as he can.
JT: See that? That is Shock and Awe… I have you people in the palm of my hand and when I do something like that, it is shocking to you all. Shock and Awe, live with it. Havok and Caden Dean are going to have to live with it come Excess, it is my time to shine. My return to Valor was supposed to be a glorious, splendid thing but in reality it has turned me bitter and resentful towards everything. I have found myself getting angry at every single thing that happens and then I get thrown into a match with a queer druggy and a man who thinks his pockets are bigger then mine and it is for a belt that means almost nothing. I have been in the title picture before and I don’t tend to choke when I am in it and this time shall be no different. First thing is first, Havok… you earned an inheritance am I correct? You stood to inherit all of your grandmothers money am I correct? Well congratulations for you as you now have a little money but what you have is merely a JT penny… it is nothing. You think that you can out buy Justin Tyme, you are wrong and it is fortunate that I came back just as you were making the transaction because if it weren’t for that impeccable timing, we might have had to endure Havok as the Junior Heavyweight champion. But thankfully, I came back and saw this man who claimed to be rich and I said no, no, no this man is making himself look richer then he actually is… at Excess, I will show Havok who has the deeper pockets and that is moi, Justin Tyme. When I walk out of that arena with the Junior Heavyweight belt around this fantastically gorgeous waist, I will show to the world that they will finally have a champion they can be proud of instead of some queer druggy wiener kid with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.
*JT looks to the roof of the building only to see an unfinished roof with the silver pipes clearly visible. Justin scoffs at the sight of the hideous eyesore of a rood so he decides to look at the ground only to see several cracked tiles on the dance floor and a torn carpet where the dance floor ends and the rest of the club floor begins. Justin scoffs again and shakes his head to which he sees a depressing sight of a man, downing bottles of beer. Justin walks over to the man and smiles before ripping the bottle of beer out of his hand and tosses it hard at the wall behind the bar. The man stands up and shows that he is well over 6 feet tall and towers over JT. The man grabs a pool cue and swings at JT but Justin grabs the cue, snaps it in half with his forearm and swings it back at the man, hitting him in the face with the cue. Justin tosses the half of the cue behind the bar. Justin cusses loudly as he realizes that everyone in the club is staring at him now.*
JT: Caden Dean, people like you are responsible for things like this happening. You influence people through the TV, people see you drinking, shooting something, a limp cig hanging out of your mouth. People see this thing and see it as the cool thing to do and so they go out and do exactly what they see Caden Dean doing. It isn’t Caden Dean alone but people with his lifestyle choice and his beliefs are ruining society as we knew it 10 or so years ago. The music us people listen to today are influenced by people like Caden which is why I can’t turn on a radio without hearing garbage that makes me want to vomit or makes me wish I was born without ears. Caden, you truly disgust me, everything about you disgusts me. You are not the true image of a human individual… you are a deviation, a pimple on the face of mankind and it is because of you that mankind is developing a serious acne problem. People look at you as a champ and see you as the role model and it makes me sick what you are doing to society… Excess changes all this and more. At Excess, I prove to the world that what you practice is a disgusting, pitiful practice that leads to a life of depravity. At Excess, I will show to the world that to succeed in what you do, you don’t have to act like the “cool” guy that does drugs or drinks or is a homosexual. To succeed in this world, you have to be the cool guy that is intelligent, cunning and polite like I am. I am not willing to allow the society that I take part in daily be ripped to shreds by people like Caden Dean. Excess is the day that I show the entire world watching in the arena and at home that I am a role model that you can look up to. I am the only Valor superstar that you people can honestly believe in, take me into your living rooms each week and accept me as being a true and acceptable individual. Wrestling has become a cesspool of deviants and crackpots and I aim to wipe each and every last one of them out. My path to purity continues onwards through Excess and onto the World Heavyweight title where I will have made each person realize what they believe is wrong and what I believe is right. Caden Dean and Havok will be the first to experience the true power of Shock and Awe and if this concept is this simple then it has to be all mind over matter and I don’t mind… because the Valor talent pool doesn’t matter.
*Justin frowns into the camera as he lays a 50 on the counter of the bar and heads towards the door. As he walks past the man he brutalized, he spits on him before walking out of the building and into a waiting black limousine. Justin hops into the back seat where three beautiful ladies are waiting for him. Fade Out.*
I’ve been in this spot before, it’s no problem really. I have been proclaimed as one of the best at this craft and time and time again I prove why that is the case, because in big match situations, I always succeed. This time it is going to be no different then the other. I have undergone intense mental and physical preparation for this match but nothing I haven’t experienced before. I have always relied on my money and once again, it ceases to fail me this time. My money and my wit have earned me what I have coming to me at Excess but while at least some of the credit goes to my money, there is no denying that my uncanny talent did more then my money ever could. I have thought it over, played the scenario through in my head a thousand times and the outcome is always the same, me holding that Junior Heavyweight title over my head. I have come back to Valor because it has become apparent that they needed a boost of charisma and raw talent but I did not realize until a couple of days ago that there may be a deeper reasoning for my return. It occurred to me that this third time could really be my time to shine, I believe that the Justin Tyme of old that used to run rough shot has since died and it has occurred to me that the only way I can get everything that I want to achieve is to get back the Old Justin Tyme. The only hope I have of achieving success in my third attempt at Valor is to bring back a revamped version of the Olde Tyme Justin Tyme and that is exactly what I am doing right where I am wearing what I am wearing.>>
