[Fade in.]
The sign on the wall reveals the gym as Hayese Healy Athletic Center. Several men lift weights or jump rope, but the focus of the camera is on one man. Tibbs sits on a bench, his black coat folded next to him. He is slumped over a bit, and his face is covered in stubble. Usually, The Man is well groomed, but he looks disheveled now. His wrinkled, indigo clothes look to be the same as what he wore last night. He wraps tape around his hands like a boxer as, slowly, he looks up.
"Hello," <His voice is poignant, yet cold> "so nice to see you again."
Tibbs directs his attention back to wrapping his hands, but he continues to talk to us.
"Saku won," <His he offers a quick glance and returns to the tape>"congratulations. You have earned yourself a win over me."<He stares at the camera> "That's fine, Saku, you've earned it. You weren't even my major concern, yet we still put on a show." <Looks to the camera>"You've got my respect now, but don't keep that too close to your heart. Next Sunday, I will get my revenge."
Tibbs stands up now, the tape depleted and his hands fully wrapped, now. He begins stretching his arms behind his shoulders.
"This week, tomorrow, I have a match against a teammate of yours, The Creeper." <Stretches other arm> "I have a message your friend Saku..."<Tibbs holds both fists up in front of his shoulders and cracks the knuckles in a loud display of power.> "... I won't lose again. I'm going to give him a Reality Check that will wake up every last one of his senses, and stop him from talking once again."
Tibbs retains the position and starts twisting at the waist in both directions.
"Personally, I don't think The Creeper has what it takes to step up to the task. He follows behind some child...a little girl. He takes orders from her, fights her battles, but can't keep a title for himself. He's not man, and I'll be stepping into the ring with a child..." [/b]<Tibbs alternates his arms over the opposing shoulders, stretching his triceps and back.>[/b] "...Don't take it personal Creeper. This is my calling in life. I'm here to teach people, like you, what it takes to be a man in this world. I won't hold your hand, or coddle you. My lesson is wrought with pain and suffering, and it's about to begin..."
Tibbs now clasps his hands together as though he were holding a sledgehammer and pulls his hands over his head and far down his back. His voice is strained as he holds the position.
"I know it sounds easy doesn't it? I know I make it seem all roses and sunshine for me..." <Tibbs relaxes the stretch and grasps his right leg, pulling it up behind him.> "However, to quote Hamlet, 'there is a method to my madness'." <Tibbs switches legs.> "Right now, Creeper, I'm thinking about facing you, and finishing this right now, but I know we have another dance next Sunday at Horrors. There are four 'other' men that I'll be focusing my attention on next Sunday as well. Quite frankly, you might not be with them; I don't think you'll live to tell about it. What do you think about that?"
<Tibbs now leans forward, putting his weight on his left leg, stretching his ankle behind him.>
"Put next Sunday out of sight and out of mind; for a little while, anyways. Yes, I know, you're already out of your mind Creeper, you proved that by actually thinking you have a chance in the first-place." <Tibbs rotates his arms backward, letting some blood flowing.> "Thunder only comes when a storm is brewing. Bottom-line Creeper, after Thursday, it's not over. While you're in the dark playing with little girls Creeper, find your past, hurry! Because I am your future... and the future is looking a little bleak."
