What we saw on Slam was a no contest situation. The tag match I was supposed to be in has been changed but that’s ok. It doesn’t bother me really as long as I’m apart of the event. Now we have my 2nd ever appearance on Shotglass. Now I have to fight the man who’s been called another Legend. A legends match if you will and with Eric Hardcastle as the referee, all this adds up to be a formulated match and a battle plan prepared. The time draws near and battle lines are drawn. I will be ready for this fight and it’s time to climb back to the top of the mountain, this time in Valor.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
The opening begins in my mind. It looks to be that of a dessert with a tower that stands to be 8 stories high. A physical form is seen standing near the tower and looking up at it. It is the giant obstacle that I must be ready for. Though this is part of what I must do to gain momentum, the end result will come at Excess. I will be up for battle for Shotglass Saturday Night against Mike Stryker.
ZMaster: Though the match itself was one on one it resolved nothing at all. Stryker and I were supposed to be a team but that did not come to past. It was myself fighting Seth and nothing was settled and it won’t be for some time. It will be at Excess where the true #1 contender will show his face.
But on to something in the meantime, with Shotglass coming up, there is a battle I will be involved with. It involves myself and Mike Stryker with Eric Hardcastle as the referee, granted he’s the World Champion but it matter’s not for this situation. No gold is on the line at all. I do expect that the bout itself shall be down the middle to see who truly is the better man. Also, granted Hardcastle and I have teamed up in the past and have been rather successful but that should not play a factor into what truly happens in this battle. I expect this to be a fight between 2 men who have something to prove when it comes down to squaring off when a lot is on the line.
I now enter the tower and open the door to the bottom of it. I am inside and currently it’s dark. Fortunatly, I have a lighter and there is a torch handler. It is used and will be a torch. I move closer to it with caution without worrying about tripping. I take the lighter out of my pocket and it’s lit. There is a little light at the moment and I get to that item and it’s lit. I carry it with me and will be climbing up the tower to the next floor soon enough. For now, this all is apart of what’s to come and Shotglass.
ZMaster: Mike Stryker, I know there is a respect and all that. I’m going for the victory and will do what’s needed by myself to win this. It’s about gaining that important momentum where everything is on the line and the chance to reach the top of the mountain. I will not allow you or anyone to stop me so easily. There are only so many chances and now Stryker, I will prevent you from ruining the plans. Do I have respect for you? Yes. I realize what you’ve done and it’s impressive without question. I just can’t let you get to the top at my expense.
This maybe the 1st encounter but it’s sure to be one never to forget. Everyone should stay out of this mess. This is my fight and that’s how it will be. I will go into battle and will come out victorious without question. No disputes and no saying I won because of so and so getting involved. Hardcastle knows how I fight and I want it to be no favoritism whatsoever. Not for me and not for you either.
As I continue in my mental training climbing, I must also continue to be ready for the match itself. I realize that more must be done in order to obtain victory.
ZMaster: Stryker, time is of the essence and it draws near. As they say as the time draws, the future becomes more clear. Truer words have never been spoken or heard. Once this bout is finished at Shotglass, it will send a message that I will be the one who goes into Excess with nothing to lose and come out on top. Stryker, nothing personal but I’ve got to do this. I must win this now.
As I keep climbing to the top of the tower, I realized my ascension to the top in Valor is drawing closer and closer. I know what’s it like to hold Valor Gold, I was the North American Champion and now I must have the World Title now. Stryker, you’re in my way and you know what happens when you get in my way. I run you over like a train hitting a car at rapid speed. Be warned and realize that My Death Sentence will be your Execution!!!
With all that said, there leaves to be the many questions that come to mind right off the bat. Will the referee play a factor in this ever so important match? What will the new Valor President Michael Kyzer do next? Will Seth be a factor in the match? Will I be able to press forward on to Excess? All this and more on the next exciting edition of Shotglass Saturday Night, fade out.
