Is it possible to rise from the dead, and return in your previous form? Is it a myth, or can it really happen. Can a man die, and yet rise and walk again, being as human as he was before. Or could it be a trick. Could a man fake his own death, and then when he reappears, he can claim he had risen. Is this all a scam? Believers say they have seen the dead rise. After all, the bible states that the holy savior rose from the dead. But why would they rise? Is it based on revenge, or is it that they are not done living. Maybe they feel that they never accomplished their goals. Rodney is not a believer. To him, its a scam, and a poorly played one also. He believes that these fakes should be killed. But then again, who cares about what Rodney thinks anymore. He is just a crazy man, and his opinions are overlooked. But what if Rodney is correct this time. He has met the devil before, wouldn't he know if it were true? If so, then why does he insist it is not. Is he afraid to spread the truth, or was he told that it was a fraud. But if Rodney is correct, it can only mean one thing... Valor is a fake!
The camera pans into a quite familiar scene. After Rodney's last rampage, his chair was broken. He now sits in the corner alone. Staring at the self-caused blood on the walls. It has dried up now, turning a shade of brown. Rodney has open wounds on his hands; a drop of blood falls off of his hand and lands on the floor. The broken chair is still in the middle of the room, perhaps he was cut by the wood. He lies there in the corner, banging his head on the concrete. Rodney's only weakness was himself. He felt no pain, only the pain caused by himself. When questioned why he hurts himself he answered quite simply. "Physical pain hides the internal pain. It is less of a pain, so I don't have to feel the burn within me. So as long as I continue to hurt myself, I will feel less of the internal burn. A lousy loophole yes, but it is one I must do." It makes sense in theory. Rodney looks at the camera, with his eyes filled with confusion and despair. Yet also pain. His clothes are torn, and he is Dirty. His facial hair is getting out of control, except for his head, which is still bald. But Rodney still wears his Snake Necklace, which amazingly stays clean week after week. After a few moments of deep thought, Rodney speaks.
Rodney Paine: By now this should be no surprise. You should be used to seeing me like this. You all look at me with your opinionated opinions, and you judge me like you know what’s going on. You think I'm a freak. He kicks his own ass, I could beat him easily. Well that is why I am in this room. So I don't have to hear your voices. So I can avoid the sun, and society, and the pathetic people who inhabit it! I don't care what you think of me, because it doesn't matter. I am the only one who understands what is happening. You can't imagine this sort of pain. But I live with it. I sleep and I eat just like you guys, and yet I am rejected. Why? Because I look different, because I act different, because I see things differently? I am human! I wasn't, but I am now. I am a mortal, and I am treated differently, it is a disgrace it is wrong, and I just don't give a damn anymore. I should care only about myself, I know that. That is why I walk out to that ring, raise hell, and I leave. I hate each and every one of you fans because you are making a mistake that I made. You are materialistic, and you don't even realize it. You are fucking up your lives, and sooner or later, you will pay for it, like I did, but not to this extent. But I'm not here to tell you how to live your lives; I'm not here to preach. I'm just here to wrestle. So you can go to church or whatever to realize your mistakes, but the reason I asked for the camera to turn on, is because I have a match. A match against a man named Thunder. And it takes place in a shitty company that treated me like shit, you know the name... Valor!
The fans erupt in cheers at VWA's name. Rodney looks happy, and yet upset at the same time. His eyes read anger, but his half smile shows he is looking forward to this. After collecting his many thoughts, he continues.
Rodney Paine: Valor, Valor, Valor. What should I say about Valor. Or better yet, what shouldn't I say. I'm sure I know thousands of things they wouldn't want me to reveal. That’s because your beloved Valor, is a fraud. That’s right, Immune & Hardcastle's baby is a fraud. I have figured it all out. This people at Valor knew that their company was dieing fast, so they plotted a quick scheme to get rid of their top draw - Me! It was a planned stunt to get you publicity. You were dying, and you were losing fan support. So you did something so desperate. You knew losing me would be a tough blow, but you went ahead and let me go. Because you felt I was being a major threat to the top stars here. Brandon Bailey, Chad West, Zmaster, all of them. You all thought I would go away fast, but that didn't last.
Rodney sarcastically claps to himself and smirks at the genius rhyme he just made. He has his half smile on, but is pretty much disgusted. He shakes his head a bit, as if motioning in a sarcastic way that he's disappointed in Valor. After a second or two, he stops clapping and continues.
Rodney Paine: Valor, you mean have no idea. I am back with a vengeance to raise as much as hell as humanly possible. I am going to crush every single person you throw at me. And on Slam, its against Thunder. Thunder has no idea what I am like inside that ring. I can switch from the technical, to the hardcore, to the brawling, all in one swift damn motion. Valor, Revenge is the fuel for the ego, without it, you feel defeated. I am Rodney Paine, and I will get the last laugh. Tonight, Thunder, You will tap out. You will tap out to the Canadian Maple Leaf. Just like all the legends have!
Rodney is beginning to smile as he thinks of the countless legends who have tapped out to him. He recalls all of them like it was yesterday. He then laughs to himself as he thinks of Thunder giving up because the pain is so great. The scene fades with him smirking.
OOC - I know its a sitty RP, but it makes deadline three minutes early AND I've been running dry on RP ideas.
