The scene opens up outside of a rundown training center. Inside there are tons of up and coming wrestlers getting in their training. Practicing with some of wrestlings finest instructors. Standing in the corner of the room with his arms crossed, watching the action, is Ryan Young. He looks at one specific wrestler, who is doing some quite interesting manuevers. He sees the young man get in a few quick pins, but nothing to put anybody away. He sees that the kid could have potential, the potential to one day be as good as he is. He reaches into the pockets of his baggy blue jeans and as he does so he hears his cell phone beep...perfect timing. He looks at it and sees he has a new text message. Its from a new number, one he has never seen in his entire life. Its from Brian Bailey, the message says "Debut against Pohatu, thursday night thunder". Young cracks a smile as he closes the phone and puts it back into his pocket. In previous companies he and Pohatu had exchanged words, but never actually stepped into the ring with one another. This was sure to be an interesting matchup. Young nods his head, thinking of something quietly to himself.
Young (thinking)- Well, I finally get my chance to shine. But this time Pohatu isn't the one who's ahead of me. We're both equal in this companies eyes, they've seen neither of us perform. These people will be getting the show of a life time. Never in my days would I have thought that my debut here would be against the "Electric Enigma" himself. I'd assumed I'd have to wait until the finals of Young Lions cup for that. But it seems I don't have to wait that long to pummel him into the ground. Thats the one good thing about debuting in a company, you get the shot to start a new. Nobody there knows what you've done previously unless they were there. They don't know who've you had your spats with and who you've put on five star matches with. You're just a talentless rookie in their eyes, just the way I like it. That means when I go out there and put all of myself into that match. When I go out there and perform my ass off, just to please that crowd and put on a good match, when I leave it all on the canvas..thats when they see the talent. That is when they will realize that they are looking at a diamond in the rough. They don't know that I can take this place by storm and could be their champion in a matter of days. I've seen this places champion perform in the ring and he doesn't impress me..not one bit. I could take this places title in the blink of an eye, and they wouldn't even know what him 'em. Thats the joys of being a "rookie" in places like this.
Young walks off, through the doors of the training room and into the doors of his Rolls Royce. He snaps his fingers and the car pulls out of the parking lot. He props his feet up on a foot rest and he stares at the ceiling, soaking all of this in. He looks out the window and sees the buildings, street signs, people, and trees all flying past him. He rubs his eyes and lets out a yawn, letting the driver know that he could stop any time now. He takes the sign and begins to slow down until he gradually stops. He looks at Young and lets out a faint chuckle, Young has a serious look on his face and opens the door quickly then shuts it just as fast and walks out. He begins to walk down the street, people staring at him oddly considering that he just got out of a Rolls Royce yet he's wearing a pair of blue jeans and a tank top. He pays those people no mind and he walks down the street with his hands in his pockets. He sits down on a bench in the middle of a park and he stares up at the cloudy sky. Drops of rain slowly begin to fall from the sky and he simply gets up and sits under a tree, it wasn't going to send him inside like the rest of the people out, he was going to do what he pleased. He sat with his head leaning against the tree staring at each drop slowly reach the ground. It seems like this rain will be coming down forever. People are scattering across the street with papers over their heads, hoods covering their hair, and hopping over puddles. On the other hand, Young is sitting below the tree with a smirk on his face as the people scramble around like chickens with their heads cut off just over a little bit of rain. After a while he gets bored of just standing there and begins to walk down the street, as he does the rain slacks up and slowly stops. He shakes his head and thinks to himself, "Perfect timing". He sees the gym he was in and he heads back to it and heads into the back room. He shuts and locks the door behind him then sits down in a chair in the corner of the room. He rocks back and forth in it, thinking of whats going to happen in his match with Pohatu. He'd faced talented people before in his career, but Pohatu is a big one. He's one of the best to ever step into the ring and he's going to have a tough time beating it, whether he's cocky on the outside or not..deep down he knows its going to be a struggle trying to beat him.

So, Pohatu. We finally get a match with each other. And what do you know, its in our debut of this company. I thought it would be awhile before we even stepped into the ring with one another. Now here we are getting ready for our match on thursday. Boy, how things sneak up on ya' huh? Just the other day we were talking about the finals of the Young Lions Cup being the first time that we ever face each other, we know we're getting there. But we didn't know it would be a rematch of our debut here. But back to the point, Pohatu you and me are going to put on quite a show, how do I know? Well you're little rival G-Dawg is one of the men who helped train me, do I give him any appreciation..no. But I do know that if it hadn't been for him I wouldn't be here right now. I'd be rotting away in FEW like Shane O'Riley. You and I..we've moved on now. We're going to tear up Thursday Night Thunder. These bookers just think we're a couple of rookies who can't keep our mouths shut, but they don't know what we're capable of. They don't know that soon we will be going after the big title in this place. They don't know that we've got so much talent that we could take out their legendary champion, Brandon Bailey right now. Thats the wonders of debuting in a company, being a new face. Especially with the Young Lions Cup..we're seeded fairly low, which means it will be more of a shock to the world when we take 'em out. See, we're brand new in this place. Thats why when they see us putting on a five star match, showing up the main eventers..they'll be in disbeleif. They'll haven't an idea what just happened. But all of these compliments doens't mean that I'm going to simply lay down for you..uh uh. Its going to be much harder than that for you to get me down for the 3. You're going to have to leave it all in the ring, you'll have to come at me with your guns blasting. You can't be over confident when facing me, if you are then BLAM..you'll go out like a light. While this may be a big match up, only one of us will be walking out of that arena with the win. One man will be undefeated, the other will be left looking at the lights. Which one will you be Poh? I've already got mine planned out, all I need to do is go in there and do it. See, people like me go in that ring night after night and I give it my all no matter who I'm facing. You on the other hand will only give as much as you think you need. Like back in JWA when you were facing Stinberg.
//-Young-\\
You saw he was nothing so you decided to simply do just enough to get the job done, you didn't actually do your best. Me on the other hand, I go in there no matter who I'm facing, whether it be Shane O'Riley or you, and work my ass off to get the win. Thats what any respectable wrestler would do Poh. So what you need to do is come down to the ring on thursday and give it all that you've got. Come on down and take your shot at me. Many have tried and many have failed. Some made it past me, some of them got lucky and picked up the win. Which one will you do, will you breeze on past, or will you struggle like the others and simply be left out of breath, bloodied and bruised, lying on the canvas listening to the fans cheer my name. You won't be able to get up and do anything about it either, you'll simply have to sit there and endure the pain, then try again next time. So are you gonna come with all of it, or simply as much of it as you feel like. I mean, opponents usually don't hand out advice like this so you should be glad I'm doing this. I want to make my debut the best it can be, going over you Pohatu is about as good as it gets. And I don't want you using the excuse, "I wasn't at my best" or "Wait until you face me when I'm actually trying". I'm not going to listen to any of it because I've heard it all before buddy. So when you walk down the ramp and into the ring I want you to know one thing. You have no excuses when you lose this thing. All you have is you simply aren't good enough. It doesn't matter what you say after our little match, what matters is what you do in our match. Actions speak louder than words Pohatu, lets see which one you'll be using.
Young gets up from his chair, he folds it back up and the throws it into the other corner. He looks out of the window, the only source of light in the entire room. Its still damp outside from the suden down pour only a few minutes ago. Young lets out a sigh and he slowly opens the door and heads out. The Royce is doing circles around the block, waiting for Young to get out. He stands on the sidewalk and steps into the car as it comes to him. The driver begins heading into a different direction, most likely to Ryan's home. He begins to speed up as he hears Young getting anxious, its been a long day and he's ready to get home. The car finally comes to a stop and pulls into an empty drive way. The large garage door opens to reveal a six car garage with four already in there. Young gets out of the car and walks up the stairs that lead to his large manor. Its got 3 stories, a pool on the roof, a workout room on the second floor, its got everything. But his career didn't buy him this, it was his parents. He had a rich family and he never had to work for anything. He realizes though that now that hes out on his own hes going to have to. He can't go back to his parents for money anymore so wreslting is what he's got to do now. Not that thats a bad thing, its just a little depressing to him that hes already fending for himself and now he's going to be living a life thats less extravagant than his older one. He walks through the white doors of the house and sits down on the couch and plants himself in front of the tv. He props his feet up on the table infront of him and sits back and relaxes for awhile. He dozes off and the next thing he knows he looks at the clock and its alread 4:30. He jumps up and flies up the stairs, hes got to be at the VWA arena in less than half an hour. He slips on a polo and grabs his bags then screams for his driver. He's already waiting in the car and the second Young steps in they drive off to the arena and the scene fades out.
When we come back Young is out of breath and sitting down in his locker room. He looks in his bag and he finds his ring gear and puts it on. Somebody knocks on his door and says "Your promo is up next" and he nods and heads to his locker. He pulls out his 'Hotshot' jacket and he lets out a long sigh then walks out the door. On the way there he sees a few wrestlers he notices and gives them a nod. He stands in front of the curtains and waits for his music to hit.
The arena gets dark all of a sudden and the fans look around, they know whats happening, its just a matter of waiting for it. Suddenly the arena is illuminated by red pyros flashing up from the rop of the ramp. As the lights slowly come back on 'One of a Kind' by Breaking Point hits and they know whats coming.
ONE OF A KIND!!
I've got that feeling deep inside
Well what it is I don't know
My vengeance starts to change
My mind gets filled with rage
I raise my fists up to the sky
Ryan Young walks out from the back with a hood covering his head. The back of his jacket has 'Hotshot' written in red, flame letters. He looks around at the crowd then flips the hood off of his head and looks at the fans in the front. He slowly begins to make his way down the ramp. Young is now in front of the ring and slides under the ropes. He points up at the fans in the upper section of the arena and he lets out a cocky grin. He goes to the turnbuckles and stands on the second one and raises his fists in the air, playing with the crowd. He hops down from one then trots to the one across from it.
And Now I feel like I'm alive
Don't know just how I got so low
These voices in my mind
Tell me it's killing time
It is a thrill I can't describe
Young has thrown off his jacket now and is standing in the middle of the ring in his wrestling trunks. He flips the hair out of his eyes and flashes another cocky grin to the crowd as he stretches on the ropes, almost looking like hes checking them to see how tight they are. He goes to the ropes facing the ramp and he uses a hand gesture to let his opponent know hes ready. Then he anxiously awaits for him to make his way down to the ring.

People, the wait is over. I'm finally here. You finally have Ryan Young..THE HOTSHOT, here in the VWA. Now you get to see what you've all been waiting for, my big debut. And this isn't any ordinary debut, I'm going against Pohatu. One of wrestling best, you people are gonna love it. Whether you like me or not, you won't be able to deny my greatness after I pin Pohatu 1..2..3. There is no WAY that I will be overlooked. I am hands down one of the most talented men in this company, and I haven't even debuted here yet. I'm...one of a kind. Dare I say..I'm electric. Heh, just pokin' fun at ya Poh. See, I came here to do one thing, win matches. And I'm not going to go out there and lose my debut match, I don't care if its against Pohatu or this place's champion Brandon Bailey. I will win my first match, and I'll win my second match, and third, and fourth, and so on. I'm going to be one of the biggest things to hit this place since the champ did. My debut will over shadow everybody elses, hell Pohatu could win this and I'll still be the one everybody talks about. Simply because nobody would have ever thought I would even be debuting against the electric enigma Pohatu. But there is one man here that I'm DYING to face...Brandon Bailey. The man who has already taken this place by storm, winning nearly every match hes been in. I mean, hes this feds champion too. You can't say he doesn't have talent, but you can say that I've got more talent than he does. Some people in this crowd might not know me right now, they may be wondering " who in the hell is this guy standing in the ring and why is he here". Well I'm the Hotshot baby! I've been making a rise to the top in the indy scene and now here I am in the big leagues, VWA.
//-Young-\\
See, while there are still some of those out there still wondering who I am..you won't be wondering for much longer. Thursday night is my debut, and I WILL leave my mark here in VWA. People will remember my name, they will remember my face. When I'm headlining pay-per-views, winning titles, and becoming a legend, you people will be saying..."wow I saw that man debut, I saw his rise to the top." And thats going to be something you remember for the rest of your life, it'll be a kodak moment right after my match on thursday. Standing over Pohatu's lifeless and bloodied body with my hands raised high in the air, cameras going off all over the arena. And that will be your proof, that will be how you can show people that you saw the greatest wrestler alive make his debut in VWA. See, in ten or so years I will be inducted in hall of fames, and I will be a legend. Then there will be people like Pohatu who just slowly fade out. They'll be on top of the world, over with the crowds, and talented in the ring, but suddenly he'll just dissapear. Nobody will know what happened to him, and we'll simply have to live with the fact that he lost his will to wrestle. It won't hurt me one bit, but you all know its going to happen. There is a line between talented wrestlers and superstars. A superstar is oozing charisma, has talent in the ring, and can play the heel and face role perfectly. They can take bumps and they can sell moves like a business man. Then theres simply talented stars, they can perform in the ring, and they can work the mic. Thats pretty much all they do, they don't put forth the effort that superstars do, and thats what seperates to two groups. I....I'm a superstar, and Pohatu's just another talented worker. He won't be selling pay-per-views, he won't have his name in lights, or on gold. He won't have his face on shirts and posters, he'll simply be left in the dark. Overshadowed by other workers talent. When he and Tiger were in Nature, that is what tiger was doing. Pohatu was geting all of the spotlight while tiger was simply standing in the background and riding his coat tail. Had Pohatu not been tagging with Tiger nobody would have noticed him. Sure hes talented too, but Pohatu is much better than him. But other than Pohatu..hes got nothing. Which is why he will fizzle here in VWA, Nature has broken up and now hes left on his own. Hes in the Young Lions Cup, he'll probably get to the 2nd or 3rd round..then he'll fall to somebody much better than him. But the one thing that entices me, Pohatu is on the other side of the brackets..which leads to a possible rematch if both of us do well. You know that its going to happen, its inevitable. So I want all of you to listen, and listen good. Pohatu may be talented, he may be one of the greatest to step into the ring...but he's not better than me. Those are the facts. And whether he likes it or not, thats whats going to happen. I've told it to you Pohatu, I've let you know what will happen. Its your fate, and you can't change it. Theres only two things you can do about it, nothing and like it!
Young throws his mic down and gets a couple of boos from the crowd, some cheers as well. He wasn't working as a heel or a face so its good he didn't get one reaction over the other. He walks up the ramp and he plays with the crowd a bit before he heads backstage again. He sits down in the locker room and thinks about what he could have done better in the promo. Could he have said something more, could he have done something better. He shakes his head and tries to think of other things, think about the match with Pohatu coming up. He gets his mind on the upcoming match and he nods his head, thinking of something to himself..possibly going throguh what he did in the promo..or just thinking about the upcoming match again..running through the possible things he can do in his head. He gets up and changes into what he was wearing earlier and puts his ring gear back into his bag. He heads into the parking lot and gets into the Royce that was waiting in there for him. He slowly pulls out of the parking lot and Young stares out the window. He pulls out a zippo and grabs a cigarette, he lights it up then puts down the window so it can air out of the car so it won't smell like smoke. He stares off into space and begins thinking to himself once more.
Young (thinking)- This match is coming up soon, less than a day now. I'm going to really have to start training hard again, my regular routine isn't going to cut it against Pohatu. This guy has put down legends, he's beaten some of the best in the business...I can't take him lightly. But I can't keep thinking about the past, I've got to stick my mind on this match coming up tomorrow. I've got to make sure that I do well in that one, if I don't I might not have much of a future here in the VWA. Then I'd be left traveling around Japan and other places looking for a job like I was before. I can't go back to that life, I've got to win tomorrow night and I've got to win big. Theres no denying it though, Pohatu won't be easy to get by. I'm going to have to work my ass off to even get him down on the mat. Hes going to throw it all at me and I'm going to have to take it and wait for my turn to strike. I've waited for a long time to get a chance like this, a chance to face on of the greats, and now I've gotten it. I'm going one on one against Pohatu..in my DEBUT! But I can't keep on thinking about how tough its going to be, I've got to make Pohatu go through hell to pin me too. This match won't be a walk in the park for him either. I've got to study hit matches, watch what he counters what with, and what I can do to counter his moves. This is going to be a match of the year candidate, no doubt about it. And I'm going to make it one. We're going to both have to put all that we've got into this thing, thats the only way we can make it a success. But thats not the only thing I've got to worry about, I've gotta win this thing too. I can't just focus on making it an incredible match, whether it goes down the drain or not, I've gotta pick up this win. Whether I have to cheat to win it, or get it cleanly, I will NOT lose this debut match..I just can't. The debut of a wrestler can make or break his entire career. If he debuts with a huge win, an incredible gimmick, or just an incredible appearance, then he can automatically become a superstar. But if you screw up in your debut, miss a spot, or simply do terrible..your out of the company. I've got to work my ass off and do my best in this match. And thats just what I'll do....my best. Hell, I can't do anything better than that. Its still a little surreal. I'm making my debut in one day...but I'm sure that I won't dissapoint. This is gonna be tough..but after all I'm Ryan Young...I can take anything.
Young finishes up the cigarette and throws it out the window. He blows his last bit of smoke then puts the window back up. He kicks back and leans his arm up on the window and props his fist up on his chin, still thinking about his match as the scene fades out
Young (thinking)- Well, I finally get my chance to shine. But this time Pohatu isn't the one who's ahead of me. We're both equal in this companies eyes, they've seen neither of us perform.

He kicks back and leans his arm up on the window and props his fist up on his chin, still thinking about his match as the scene fades out
*i thought it went well, I might get another one in if I need to. Feedback is appreciated*
