<3<3-The screen fades in on a busy street on the Northside of Chicago. It's late evening, but cars still drive by at regular intervals. There's a light rain falling as a few drops hit the camera lens. Since it has been raining for a while now, the city streets have a black mirrored effect almost like a black onyx stone. As the camera slowly begins to turn around, you can see a ten foot high gray concrete wall that stretches left and right as far as the eye can see. On top of this wall are metal spikes painted green with visible rust spots that keep unwanted guests from climbing over. While the camera continues to film the stone barrier, a familiar voice in the background says...<3<3
Hey...
<3<3-The camera quickly turns around and now standing at the edge of the sidewalk is the VWA World Champion Brandon Bailey. He's wearing a black, buttoned, trenchcoat that goes to his ankles. His head is uncovered and his hair is soaking wet. As the rain starts to get heavy, Brandon begins to speak...<3<3
VWA...I'm still here, I'm still champ. Sunday's victory was just anotha' level added to tha' mountain I call my legacy. Tha' VWA wanted ta' give a mediocre losa' named Saku one more shot ta' take me down...but he failed miserably; just like I said he would. I told everyone that he wasn't on my level, and that he didn't deserve anotha' chance at my world title...but they gave it ta' him anyway. Tha' VWA officials don't want me as their champion because I don't look ta' please tha' fans or tha' networks. I'm not what they envisioned as their first champion 'cause I don't spit bulls**t propaganda ta' line their pockets with cash. Until they realize that they have no control ova' where this title goes, they'll continue ta' be disappointed. I'll continue ta' mow down every single one of my opponents until destiny sees it fit fa' me ta' relinquish my title.
<3<3-Brandon spits to his left and continues...<3<3
Sunday, ZMasta' tried ta' get in my way. He tried ta' be a pawn of tha' system, but still failed in his endeavors. They tried ta' throw two men at me in tha' same match, but I still triumphed by hook or by crook. No one is takin' this title from me. No matta' tha' odds against me, I will always rise up ta' tha' occasion because I'm on a-whole-notha' level.
<3<3-Brandon walks a few steps and pivots to his right. As the camera follows him, you can now see an entrance into the area blocked off by the concrete wall. It's a wide driveway that allows two directions of traffic. At the top of the entrance reads Rosehill Cemetary. Brandon looks up at the wrought iron sign and says...<3<3
Rosehill Cemetary...In tha' heart of Chicago's Northside. It's huge...full of death and memories. I used ta' pass this place everyday on my way ta' high school. No matta' which way I took, I had ta' pass this place. Even at my age it gave me tha' creeps, but not anymore. I'm no longa' scared of tha' dead, or bad memories. I'm no longa' afraid of where my actions and sins are gonna' take me when I'm gone. Ya' see, death is just anotha' mountain' ta' climb. It's just anotha' struggle that I'm ready ta' come my way so that I can conquer it too. <<Brandon wipes the rain from his face...>> Ya' see, it's not just death I no longa' fear...I also no longa' fear tha' messanga's of death. Those messanga's are no different than those who've doubted me my whole career. They all pray fa' my downfall, but I continue ta' thrive and rise up. I've beaten every doubta' that's come my way, and it's gonna' be no different when death comes.
<3<3-Brandon begins slowly walking into the pitch black cemetary. As the camera follows him, Brandon continues...<3<3
This Sunday at Slam, I face a new challenga'. I face a man called Creepa'. <<Glances back with a smirk...>> Here we have someone who can't even talk fa' himself. He can't even musta' up three words ta' say what's on his mind. So how does he get his point across? With tha' little girl from that movie "Tha' Ring." Oooo Scary! << He says sarcastically...>> Bells and whistles; that's all he is. Creepa' is just anotha' waste of time in this miserable business that I'm forced ta' clean up. He's just one more example of why I'm exactly what this company needs as a champion. I'm real, and always will be; but since I have no say in tha' matta' of my opponents, I'll play along.
<3<3-Brandon stops in front of a large tombstone that is unreadable due to the harsh weather over the years. The champ puts his hands in the trench coat's pockets and stares at the headstone for a moment. While still looking forward, Brandon continues...<3<3
Creepa'...Ya' little' girl states that I am lustful, greedy, gluttonous, and prideful. What she fa'got ta' mention was slothful, envious, and angry. I have violated every one of tha' seven deadly sins and I've already paid fa' each one of them tenfold. I lusted fa' tha' title like it was a fine piece of ass. I was greedy because I wanted it all fa' myself. I was a glutton fa' victory and indugled in it wheneva' I could. I was prideful because I believed that with my talent I would not fail. I was slothful because I did what I needed ta' do ta' get what I wanted. I was envious that my abilities were bein' ova'looked fa' some posta'boy. Finally, I was angry that no matta' what I did, who I beat, or how badly I beat 'em, I was still doubted.
<3<3-Brandon looks back at the camera with a fire in his eyes and continues...<3<3
Ya' see Creepa'...In tha' two short months I've been a part of Valor, I've habitually committed each of tha' seven deadly sins. I'm a repeat offenda', and ta' this day, I still pay fa' those sins. Did ya' think that by bringin' up my mistakes, ya' had a chance ta' break me down? How can ya' break a man down that's already been ground inta' nothin'? I was broken and destroyed fa' most of my life, but I've been rebuilt. I'm stronga', tougha', and more focused than eva'. Creepa'...I fear nothin'! I fear no man, and I damn sure don't fear any little girls. I'm at tha' top of my mountain, and I can see everything that comes my way...<<Pauses...>>Oh, that's right. Ya' little girl said that ya' won't be climbin' tha' side of my mountain, you'll be comin' up through it. <<Chuckels...>> Tha' only thing that comes up from tha' ground like that is tha' Devil, and I've already kicked his ass once! He thought he had a hold of me, now he's lickin' his wounds back in Hell where I'm gonna' send ya' on Sunday!
<3<3-Brandon calms down and slicks his wet hair back. He shakes the water off his hands and continues...<3<3
Creepa'...I've violated tha' Seven Deadly Sins, but I've also practiced tha' Seven Heavenly Virtues; faith, hope, charity, fortitude, justice, temprance, and prudence. I have faith in my own abilities. I had tha' hope and desire ta' be tha' champion. I show charity by givin' no talent losa's like ya'self chances ta' try and beat me. I show fortitude by kickin' all of ya' back to tha' bottom of my mountain. I served justice by winning tha' Valor World Championship. I practice temprance by showing self-mastery in tha' ring. Finally, I'm prudent because I'm been around too damn long ta' not know what tha' hell I'm doin'. <<Holds out both palms..>>Seven Deadly Sins...Seven Heavenly Virtues...They go hand in hand Creepa'. Sunday, you'll get ta' see what it's like ta' face a man that has dealt with both sides.
<3<3-Brandon puts his hands back in his pockets and begins to walk away. He stops after a few steps, turns around, and says...<3<3
Sunday...be prepared ta' dea with a man who is filled with tha' sins of tha' fatha'...
<3<3-The screen fades out as Brandon walks deeper into the cemetary.<3<3
