[Fade In]
[Inside a small, dusty gym, right inside the confines of West Mars, Pennsylvania is the ever increasing smell of day old sweat and buckets of it. A rickety building, standing since the early 60's. It is known as a historical monument within the small town of West Mars. West Mars is located just on the outskirts of Pittsburgh, the Steel City. It is the home of one, "Lightning Quick" Shane Quickenbosh. Quickenbosh, a man known around the world for his unique combination of high flying acrobatics and skillful technical counters and submissions. He is a true student of the game. Studying video tapes, the remote control in one hand, a pad and pen in the other. Fast forward and rewind become his friends. His eyes glaze over the television screen, as a match involving Zuzzi appears on the 27 inch screen. He pauses the tape for a moment, jotting a few notes down about his opponent this Sunday.]
Quickenbosh:
My opponent enjoys the use of a powerful and high impact piledriver. Hmmm.....<scratching his head> Perhaps, if I am caught in such a predicament, I can counter with the use a hurracannranna. Or depending on my weight of leverage, I may be able to sustain and use the leverage advantage and reverse into a sunset flip, pinning combination.
[With a striking motion, Quickenbosh scribbles a few more notes down on his pad.]
Quickenbosh:
Eureka! And I am not talking about the vacuum. I have the perfect counter to his devastating piledriver. Zuzzi, I am new to Valor Wrestling Alliance. But I am not new to this great sport of professional wrestling. I have toured this country in search of the greatest wrestlers. My hunger for competition goes unquenched. But when VWA approached me about a tournament called The Young Lion's Cup.....well, lets just say my mouth began to salivate. That ultra hunger groaned. A chance to determine who is the hungriest lion out there. I will take that opportunity to prove that I am the best of the best. That opportunity brings me to this Sunday. In Ric Flair country......WHOOO!!
[With a smile on his face, Quickenbosh looks around.]
Quickenbosh:
Greensville, South Carolina. A city, so enriched in wrestling history. A city that graced a wrestling classic between Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat and Ric Flair and Terry Funk. A clash of champions, of sorts. Only this Sunday, the difference is I am not Ric Flair and Zuzzi, you sure is ain't Steamboat or Funk. But you ain't half bad. I'm not looking past you this Sunday. I am looking directly ahead. I am looking directly ahead to this Sunday, where I plan to make my mark. I make my mark at your expense, Zuzzi.
[Quickenbosh turns to the television screen and takes another look at Zuzzi's finisher, The Dying Breath.]
Quickenbosh:
You call that move The Dying Breath. It is appropriately named. Because after Sunday, that's exactly what you will be inhaling........your dying breath. There isn't a history between us, Zuzzi. After Sunday, there won't be a future for US, either. And remember this Zuzzi......Lightning has a habit of striking, when you least expect it.
