<The screen zooms in to a shot of the YLC Trophy. "The Next Two Weeks" by Halifax begins playing. Numerous images begin to appear of different participants, including Will Dinero, Steve Castle, Saku, Shane Quickenbosh, Ryan Young, Havok and Pohatu. Freeze frames from Saku's moonsault to Shane Quickenbosh's tope con hilo are shown. A shot of Pohatu and Ryan Young facing off, followed by an Arabian facebuster of Havok's. The screen then fades to ringside, where Kevin Olbermand and Mean Mike Patrick are seated. The 2005 YLC Trophy sits at the announce table.>
K: Welcome everybody to Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City New Jersey!!! Welcome to The Finals of The Young Lion's Cup!!! I'll be your host, Kevin Olberman and alongside me is my tag team partner, Mean Mike Patrick.
M: It has come down to this.
K: This?
M: Yes....this as in, the final 2. "Lightning Quick" Shane Quickenbosh and "The Gem" Steve Castle.
K: Could you ask for a better finals?
M: Sure. If Will Dinero was in it, it wou......
K: But he's not, Mean Mike. Everyone had their favorites, but the bottom line is, 1 and 2 are not in the finals......seeds 3 and 4 are. And really these seeds were pretty interchangeable.
M: True.
K: Tonight, one man is gonna be presented this gorgeous 2005 Young Lion's Cup Championship. Tonight, one man walks out of Boardwalk Hall as the undisputed best Junior Heavyweight in the World Today.
M: But who is that someone gonna be?
K: No need to wonder much longer. Steve Bond is in the ring and ready for the introductions.
<In the ring>
SB: Ladies and gentlemen, this is the finals of the 2005 Young Lion's Cup Tournament. A month ago, we started with 16 of the World's greatest Junior Heavyweights. Tonight, we have narrowed that field down to just 2. Introducing first standing 5'8" and weighing in at 200lbs......................."THE GEM" STEVE CASTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<The lights are out for a brief second. The crowd is waiting and Enter Sandman is being heard. The lights are blinking every 3 seconds. The Gem comes out at the entrance way. He pauses for a moment. He raises his arms up (think of Chris Jericho) and the lights are on al the way. His arms drop down to his side and he continues walking. He stops mid way and gets down on his knees and raises both arms up. Blue and red fireworks are shown right at the entrance way. He gets up and goes forward. He heads to the stairs and gets to the 2nd turnbuckle and raises his right arm while looking at the crowd in the air. He gets down and enters the ring awaiting the bell.>
K: The Gem has been extremely impressive throughtout this torunament. He defeated Voodoo, Roy Chambers and Pohatu to get to this spot, right here tonight. Believe you me, those are no slouches.
M: Absolutely not. Pohatu was the man to upset the number 1 seed in Will Dinero. So you know that Pohatu was a dangerous man.
SB: And his opponent. Hailing from West Mars, Pennsylvania. He stands 6'0" and weighs 197lbs.................."LIGHTNING QUICK" SHANE QUICKENBOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<"Break It Down Again" softly plays. The crowd stands to their feet and begin to cheer. The music begins to grow louder, as the curtains open and "Lightning Quick" Shane Quickenbosh appears on the stage. He raises his arms up in the air and begins to bounce from side to side. He darts down the ramp and into the aisle. He points directly at the camera, as he walks down the aisle. He reaches his arms out, from side to side, slapping hands with the fans. He stops in the middle of the aisle and leans his back against the guard rail, as the fans embrace him. With a huge smile on his face, he points at the ring and leaps to the apron. He grabs the top rope and flips himself into the ring. He climbs to the middle rope and raises his arms to the crowd for another round of cheers.>
K: And this ovation for Quickenbosh is equally loud, as it was for Steve Castle!!!
M: A little Quick chant breaking out.
K: Shane Quickenbosh's road to the finals was just as hard as Steve Castle. Quick had to defeat Martin Paine, Tiger and then Havok to advance to the finals of the YLC. And Paine is now the number 1 contender for the Valor Junior Heavyweight Title. So you know that man is no slouch.
M: You can safely assume this crowd will be pretty spilit.
<Half the crowd breaks out into "Lets Go Castle" and then pauses. The other half of the crowd breaks out into "Lets Go Quickenbosh" and then pauses. The routine continues.>
K: You were right!!! The crowd is spilit. Its deafening in Boardwalk Hall, as these 2 fan favorites prepare to get it on!
M: Ring that bell.
K: Senior Referee Noel Gevers calls for the bell and this match is underway. Both men circle the ring and come to the center of the ring, shake hands and lockup. Quick into a full nelson. Castle looks for the escape and does, countering into an arm twist by Castle. Turn and another twist and back into another arm ringer by Castle.
M: Quick needs to stay with it and just match him, hold for hold.
K: Counter by Quickenbosh, into a counter by Steve Castle. The Gem now into a side headlock. Shane Quickenbosh got a little out wrestled right there.
M: Steve Castle didn't get here on his good looks.
K: He's wearing a mask.
M: Exactly.
K: Quick now using his leg to apply pressure on the back knee of The Gem, forcing Castle down to one knee. Quickenbosh spins around into a chinlock.....wait, no its a cross faced chickenwing.
M: Man, havent seen a chickenwing since.....Immune was eating them backstage at Sunday Night Slam.
K: Not that kind of chickenwing. I haven't seen this WRESTLING HOLD since the days of Bob Backlund. Castle now looking for the escape........Quick counters Castle's escape into an arm ringer. Arm drag now by Quick. Man, Shane Quickenbosh really knows how to disect his opponents.
M: Like a frog on a lab table.
