November has arrived in the great North West, Rain and cold weather is running ramped over the mountain dropped and water shimmering landscape of the Puget Sound area. It is rather cold; we can tell this by the amount of people bundled up with umbrellas over their heads this soggy afternoon. However, one man is standing there, hair being thrown every which way with the strong wind that accompanies Western Washington’s fall weather, out of place in this wintery rainy hell. His shorts and T-Shirt make him seem more like a tourist in the wrong part of the country this time of year instead of a normal resident. There is, however, one article of clothing that displays the fact that this weather is effecting this ignorant resident, all thought it may be just because it pulls together the ‘hey look everyone, it’s summer!’ look. A baseball cap rests on top of his head as he looks at the beautiful scenery, the water shimmering, throwing back the mountain’s reflection as if the mountain is poisonous to it, the rain drops making small ripples in the water, colliding with each other and ending their miniscule wave build up. Hundreds of thousands of these ripples are made each passing second as the much-needed rain falls. The man turns around, the crowd instantly busting into cheers as they recognize the face of The Tiger. He is wearing his usual cocky smirk on his face, his arms folded across his chest as the rain suddenly intensifies, leaving bigger spots of falling liquid on the already drenched clothes of the insane resident. But this doesn’t faze him, despite the fact, as shown by the more sane residents, it is freezing cold out.
The Tiger: “Isn’t it beautiful? The crisp frosty air, rain that never stops unless it snows, and as well the shorter darker days. Yes, this is the perfect time of year, the time of year in which it displays exactly the outlook of my opponent’s future. You see, my friendly opponent Quickenbosh doesn’t get it. You almost never see lightning here, you never see, no matter how stormy it gets, a thunder bolt striking the ground. If I had the home field advantage, then this match would be over before it even started. You see Shane, you are forgetting one thing, The Lightning is much faster than you, I should know, I’ve faced him twice. You see, you are not as fast as lightning, and you never will be. This is one misconception of you skills that can lead you into that deadly Tiger Pounce in which many fear. That’s all it will take in order to have the ref’s hand strike the wrestling mat three times, with your shoulders placed firmly next to it. Quick as you are, you will not be able to be quick enough to get away from this ferocious beast you see before you. You see, you are only watching out for the Tiger Pounce, when there are numerous other ways I can take you out. I can lock in a Sharpshooter, and make you tap out, but that’s not my way, that’s not what I do to win most matches. You see, I like to take my opponent out in the air, and The Final Kill will do just that, one of the most devastating finishing maneuvers ever invented, because I just don’t drop your chin on my shoulder, I do it in mid air, with great impact. This is the move I used against Chad to finish him off, and it could be used on you at a moments notice. That’s another thing that separates you from me, is that you think you are quick as lightning, but I don’t need lightning to tell me how quick I am, I know at a moments notice…”
Suddenly lightning flashes behind The Tiger, and we see the camera jerk up violently before crashing to the ground with a large thud, however because of the soggy ground made by the rain, the camera does not break, but mud is splattered up in view. However, we are still able to see The Tiger, his foot up in the air where the camera once was. Tiger sheaths his foot by placing it on the ground, walking over to the camera and picking it up, wiping off the mud to show his serious face as the camera is given back to the camera man.
The Tiger: “I could go For the Kill, instantly snapping your head back and impaling your jaw on my foot, knocking you out cold like the Western Washington weather in November. But then, how can I do this if you want to cage me? You want to introduce MY element, then get ready for the pain, because I will, without hesitation, climb that cage and leap off from it, performing the most devastating high flying move known in wrestling today. You know what I’m talking about, I call it the Final Strike, and with a 540 Diamond Cutter, the impact alone will shatter your teeth, your hope of winning, and your inflated ego. I hope you like your ass whoopings cold, because that’s the state you will most likely end up at, out cold.
“You see, as my opponent pointed out, Atlantic City is good for betting, gambling, and playing the percentages. As I said last week, I am the wild card, nobody expects me to pull out the win against you, just like they did against Chad. But I say, to those who are looking for money, put it on me, because I am going to guarantee a victory, and I will advance to the semi finals, and face whoever can pull out the victory. Expect this 11th seed to make another upset, and advance all the way to the finals. Quickenbosh, you feel you don’t have a ‘best’ way of wrestling, but well in all? That will lead to the end of your Young Lion’s Cup 2005 bid. Because I’m good in all, and best in taking it to the air, where I strike with…
The fans cheer as Tiger gives a thumbs up, before we fade…to…black
