Scene starts out in a car. We look into the driver’s seat to see VWA superstar Pryme driving. His arm is resting on the top of the steering wheel. The speedometer reads a high speed he is cruising down the interstate. His legs are resting considering he has turned cruise control on for his long ride. He is driving to the arena that is holding the new tournament known as the Young Lions Cup. He has his gym bag in the back seat of the car and has the radio at a low volume. The driver’s side window is cracked as smoke is rolling out of the window. He is smoking a cigarette with the name brand Marlboro. He flicks some of the ashes off his cigarette through the crack in the window. he then begins to speak.
Pryme: I may know nothing about my opponent tonight but it is not like I haven’t taken on bigger specimens than my first opponent in this tourney. I am up against a man that is known as Mr. Roy Chambers. I have yet to even meet this man. The only thing I can judge him by is the pictures I have seen of him. I have heard stories among stories about what he does to his opponents in the ring, but until I can find out for myself what the man is really about, then he is a threat in my career.
Pryme takes a big puff off his cigarette as the flame rushes down the cigarette. Pryme then tosses the butt of the cigarette out the window. he then rolls up the window to block out the noise of the wind through the window. as we look into his face we see with utmost seriousness that we haven’t seen before. With one hand on the steering wheel we can see his hand grip tighter as he hits the accelerator heavily with his foot.
Pryme: Tonight I get my foot in the door and I have a chance to advance to the next round. I am going to go toe to toe with a man from another federation I have yet to hear about. I am not aware of what this man is capable of, and quite honestly that worries me. The only thing that keeps my head up high is my self confidence in myself. Never forgetting the ones that have got me where I am today and that would be the great fans of professional wrestling.
We notice the car turn to the right. We pass a sign that says rest area. The car flies through the passageway and slams on the breaks in the parking zone. He reaches down into his console and pulls out another cigarette. He then pushes in his automatic lighter and awaits as the lighter heats up. The whole time he is waiting he never takes his eyes off of us. The lighter makes a click sound and his eyes wonder over to the lighter. He pulls out the lighter and ignites his cigarette. The smoke rolls from out his mouth and he rolls down the window once again. He lays the lighter back into its slot and begins to speak.
Pryme: No matter what the outcome of this event I am going to leave without remorse towards my opponent’s well-being. I am in this event to support my home, my life, and my people. I am here to support Valor, the number one federation across the nation. The place where I got my start. The place where I was given the opportunity to prove myself to everyone. The place I grew up to know as home. Now it is my turn to return the favor by receiving the YLC trophy for the trophy case held within Valor. I will go down into the history books as the first man in Valor as well as the first man ever to receive this award. I am going into the tourney as an underdog to come out as the top dog. At the end of tonight I will have no regrets and leave nothing behind.
Pryme then starts his car up once again. He reaches over and opens the passenger side door. He then inhales a huge puff on his newly lit cigarette and holds the smoke inside his mouth. He leans over to us and then blows the smoke directly at us. We back out of the car and we hear the car door shut. We hear the car go into gear and take off down the road. As the smoke clears and our vision become clear we can only see the tail lights of Pryme’s car far into the distance. We cut to commercial.
