[Fade In]
[Located just a few minutes outside of West Mars, is the Pittsburgh Zoo. A wide array of animals call this zoo home. Animals like snakes, monkeys, lions and tigers. It is in the section marked tigers and begals that is most intriguing today. In a warm winter parka, Shane Quickenbosh stands outside the tiger's cage. A bag of warm roasted peanuts in his hands, he stares at the magnificent creature.]
Quickenbosh:
What a truly magnificent creature. The bright colors and the powerful stripes, all apart of this animal's character. Just as amazing as the animal truly is, I for one, am glad it is safely locked behind the cage and not roaming freely amongst the people. Tigers are a powerful creature. They are every bit as dangerous, as they are amazing.
[Shane tosses a couple of peanuts into his mouth.]
Quickenbosh:
This Friday, Round 2 of the Young Lion's Cup begins. And what Young Lion's Cup would be complete without a tiger of its own? My second round opponent is just that, Tiger. I was hoping for Chad Roberts, but Tiger came up big in round 1 and was able to vaniquish Chad Roberts from YLC. I can guarantee you this Tiger, you will not have as an easy of time doing the same to me. I intend to be the high roller of the night in Atlantic City, this Friday. I intend to put the world on notice, of just who is the number 1 Junior Heavyweight on the planet today. And I am going to do it by making headlines, here at YLC.
[Shane finishes up with the peanuts and tosses the bag in the trash can nearby the tiger cages.]
Quickenbosh:
As you can see that tiger is snarling and showing its teeth. Grrrrrrr!!!!! Its angry and I'm sure come Friday, my Tiger will do the same. But I intend to make sure my Tiger is put behind bars, where he belongs, just like this one. Tiger, you can snarl and show your teeth, act all tough. It won't make a difference. Because I am focused and I am just inches away from acheiving the biggest accolade in the Junior Heavyweight division, in the Cup. And I am not gonna let you or anyone else stop me. A trip to the semifinals is on the line this week. A chance of a lifetime. A chance that I intend to make the very best of. Good luck on Friday, Tiger. And remember..........lightning has a habit of striking.........when you least expect it.
[Shane lifts his parka hood over his head. He strolls out of the tiger section and begins to make his way to other parts of the zoo. Enjoying the day, but not forgetting what lies ahead later this week.]
