The scene has opened up in that room. The door is white and has a white handle. The tiles and everything is in place. The scientists are out there planning on what’s the next combat plans for The Gem. Now the final four has been set and next after this is the finals of the whole Young Lion’s Cup. “The Gem” Steve Castle has entered the room and is back in the middle of the room. After going to the next round, he has perhaps his greatest challenge to date. He must go into hand to hand combat against “The Electric Enigma” or “The Lightning” Pohatu as he is commonly known as.
His thoughts run through his mind over the recent outcome in the match between himself and Roy Chambers. Some would think he’d be fine with going to the next round but due to the circumstances that surrounded, his expression is not that of true victory. For he prides himself mainly on being able to have a will or a warrior and win on his own. That did not happen and now through his mask and through his mind, he wants to be trained and ready for the next fight and challenge that awaits.
The command has been given to increase training to a harder level. As this next round is the final four. After which, he must be ready. The room itself is changing. As time progressed, it changed into a Nuclear Plant. The building lights are dim and he has something along with him in this form of a quest. He now has a pistol with him to arm himself from monsters that get in his way. In his pocket, he has with him gloves that are activated when on and shoot out electricity. His thoughts go into what transpired on the last edition of the Young Lion’s Cup.
The Gem (thoughts): The match with Chambers for the most part was good. I wanted to win this on my own but that didn’t happen. As I watched the footage, I was disgusted. I was disgusted that Martin Paine got in the way and ruined what was to be my night to go to the final four. Now I hear the questions of could I have beaten Chambers without help. The world may never know and it’s something that will be a motivation that it won’t happen twice. I didn’t ask for help, I never wanted any at all. I’m soon to go into the final four of this very important tournament. The only reason I’m even here is for this. For me to come in and take it all would be a great accomplish and would be perfect. I won’t let someone like Paine ruin it for me. I don’t need any help and I don’t want any either. That’s how I fight and that’s how I play. No one can say that I’ve ever asked for anyone to get in my business. Name one time it has happened. I ask you all, name one time in one on one combat and the answer will be none.
The Gem continues to go through the place. He puts the pistol away and puts on the electric gloves. In order to shock those who cause harm and get in the way. After those thoughts had cleared through his mind, now comes the focus to Round 3. He’s up against no walk in the park. The Lightning has defeated Will Dinero in what many consider an upset. He is walking through the area and sees nothing at the moment that can stand in the way. But his thoughts are still on the upcoming battle.
The Gem (thoughts): I’m up against a guy who’s no joke and I realize that. He beat Dinero, some say it’s an upset, I don’t however. There has only been one true upset and it’s the match with Saku and Arsenic. I’ve seen Pohatu wrestle and I’ve seen him in many places and he’s no joke. Anyone who says he is doesn’t understand. I’ll give him his due he’ll be a worthy opponent.
With that said, I’m in the final four and I must advance to go all the way. No one can stand in my way. I must beat Pohatu at his own game. He wants to be quick I can do that. If he wants a true battle he’ll get it. I won’t have someone get involved in the match like Paine did. I look to the Young Lion’s Cup and I see it means that you are the best in all the talents. It means to me that I have accomplished something rather huge. It’s as big to me as it is to win a championship. Pohatu, nothing personal, you’re just in the way.
Pohatu, lately you’ve been dubbed The Electric Enigma. I take it that means you can now have electricity run through your veins. At a large rate, the more you take in, the more that leaves you in a state of shock. You may have gone through Dinero but have you ever fought a Warrior? I don’t think so one bit. When it comes to Round 3, on my own I’ll do what is needed to get the job done. The combat training that’s being done such prepare me greatly what I have in store for you come Round 3.
The Gem opens the door. He is still within the Nuclear Plant with his Electric Gloves. There are some monsters there trying to get in his way but he uses his gloves to shock them and they’re out cold. Final thoughts are in preparation for this fight.
The Gem (thoughts): Pohatu, realize that I don’t play games with anyone. I just showed an example of too much electricity. Be ready for this match and remember what a shock can do to you at such a high rate. As I get past you, I will be awaiting the winner between Havok and Quickenbosh. There is no such thing as upset now. Your fate will truly be decided on this night. There is one thing I have that you don’t possess and that’s the will of a warrior.
The Gem continues going through this Nuclear Plant and continue his training. What are the plans for Round 3, stay tuned. Fade out into the darkness.
