The scene opens up in that very same white room. The tiles are really in top condition despite the simulation battles. So many situations have come about and have come to past. From the 1st challenge in the Young Lion’s Cup to the next step in the whole tournament, knowing what’s next, another simulation battle turned up a bit. Like changing modes in games from easy to normal to hard, and if possible Legendary mode. The door opens up and The Gem has come back into the fray once again. He goes into preparation for battle.
He gets to the middle of the room. His voice can be heard and now another step has come with the Young Lion’s Cup. After eliminating Voodoo, his next step is Round 2 of this Young Lion’s Cup in a man none other than “The Heart Breaker” Roy Chambers. He stands right there looking straight into the mirror even though he can’t see the scientists at all. However, his voice can be heard right through this. A command was made to change this room into another simulation combat zone. Only this time unlike the last one, make it a little more difficult than before.
The Gem looks on as the room starts to change. As time has progressed, the room has a sky now into a dark sky as it’s night. A bridge is out there. It’s above the sky about 7,000 feet up in the air. The moon itself is full and is white as light. There are bats flying around the area. “The Gem” Steve Castle is thinking to himself, reflecting now before beginning.
The Gem (thoughts): So now I beat Voodoo. Just as I wanted to do, make a statement in this Young Lion’s Cup. Granted, I’ll admit I may not have as much experience as the others but it’s about proving a point and doing it on your own. I have done that all ready in this 1st match up. Voodoo, our paths may cross again but I wouldn’t bet on it. The reason I came to this place was for the Young Lion’s Cup. For me to win that in the little time I’ve been in the ring would be an accomplishment no question about it. I intend to march forward and then get myself ready for the next level. Each bout I go in, I prepare myself in a way to be ready for sheer combat. I will win this no matter what the challenge holds. It’s the belief I have and the will I have that makes it possible.
Now The Gem begins to go forward. Unknown to him, the bridge has a part of it where it breaks. The location of the area is none other than the Bloodlines. It is a place uncharted from any location ever given. Now he keeps going and bats are flying towards him, luckily he has something. Every time he has a simulation combat, he has an item that could help. He has a mirror that is unlike many others. It is the Mirror of Truth. It’s a blinding flash of light that drives away those who get in his way. He takes it out and the light flashes. Even it blinds The Gem for just a brief second. The bats are driven away as they hate the light. Now he presses forward. There is part of the bridge that is broken and has a bit of a gap for him to jump. He has to do so in order to cross, otherwise he’s trapped and could fall in a bottomless pit or worse. Even with that going on, his thoughts remain on Chambers.
The Gem (thoughts): I’m now presented into another challenge. It’s called the Elite 8. I must do battle with Roy Chambers. Some view his victory over Pryme an upset I view it differently. There’s no such thing as upsets in this case. It’s the unpredictable feeling that can be seen. That one was back and forth and could go either way. It’s fate that decided you to advance like I did. Chambers, there isn’t much to say or to tell but know this, you’ll be facing off with another battle.
Another challenge to go straight to the final four of this tournament. I will be going for it all. There is a reason for me to be here and it’s to win it all. It doesn’t matter who I have to face, it’s just a matter of going through preparing the same. So in essence, it goes like this: effect on me with you winning, none whatsoever. My preparation for the battle is still just the same as before. Bare in mind, this isn’t personal, it’s just another step and another battle. I will be ready for you and everything you have in store for me.
The Gem has advanced through the hurdles and obstacles that stand in his way. As he has left that area, some bats were following but were too late. He has opened up a door and slammed it shut. There seems to be ray of lights in different shades. A statue is out in the background as it is of no use at all. He continues to think about the fight and prepartions for battle.
The Gem (thoughts): Chambers, when I get a hold of you in this match, know that this won’t be like anyone you’ve ever faced before. Be ready for anything and everything. I have a fighting spirit you’ll never break. What I got for you is showing that battle lines are drawn, wars are fought all the time. When it’s all said and done, I will be going on to the Final Four and will be ready for either The Money Man or The Electric Enigma. Either way, my preparation will be the same as it has always been. Be ready for anything and everything that comes your way. As I continue training, this will be a sample of what’s to come. My training has me ready for all forms of combat. Confused. Well, you would be because there’s one thing I have that you’ll never have and that’s the will of a warrior. Prepare for battle Chambers.
