Color Commentary 11/15/05 Edition 4

The world we know as professional wrestling has lost. Simple as that. When I awoke on Sunday morning and was told that Eddie Guerrero had passed away, I was shocked. His passing gave me pause, but didn't hit me right away. I was feeling a lack of emotion. I was sad for Eddie's family and selfishly, I was sad that I would not be entertained by Eddie any longer. Yet, I shed no tear and felt no heartache. But after last night's RAW, the emotion finally poured out. Like a sobbing child, I sat on my living room couch and cried, for what seemed like days and really was only 2 hours. From the moment RAW hit the air, you could see and feel the emotion from guy's that you saw on a weekly basis as stone cold killers. To watch a man like Chris Benoit break down and sob like an infant, only made me truly feel that heart ache. While, I did not know Eddie on a personal level......after watching last night, I knew how much he would truly be missed. Not enough good things can be said about a man who had to fight an uphill battle each day. We'll miss you Eddie!

But like Vince said, Eddie would want the show to go on. And it shall. And lets start with the home base of operations of the WWE. Its hard to grade the wrestling aspect on RAW this week. I was too caught up in the emotion. I think it was a classy move not to progress storylines this week. Smackdown I think will be just as emotional, as Chavo takes to the ring. Thats right, Chavo......NOT KERWIN!

TNA struck GOLD!!!! So the question is, who in TNA read Color Commentary and took my idea and ran with it?! I'm not angry. No, no. No ill feelings here. Anything to help make it better. For the first time in about 2 years, I am really excited for TNA. Christian Cage is gonna be huge. And to my good friend Jay Reso...........YOU'RE TIME IS NOW!!!! I implore everyone to check out Genesis and watch Captain Charisma make his TNA debut and watch how flawlessly TNA booked Christian's debut. Big thumbs up.

I am wearing my Latino Heat t-shirt....you know the one that looks like the cover to Scarface. I dont want to take it off. Makes me feel better.

TNA signed former Justin Credible, now PJ Polaco. I like it. Now we need to see Aldo Montoya come back.

How did Raven go from TNA Champ to opening the PPV?!

TNA needs a mid card title, similar to Intercontinental. Can anyone say North American?! Go ahead.....I'm cool with that idea stealing too.

Chris Jin? I bet the guy who started that is being egged as we speak.

Don't worry, Christian hasnt completely burned the bridge with Vince.......well, its definitely charred, but not burnt down.

Big ups to ROH for remembering to honor Eddie. Considering Eddie main evented the very first ROH show.

Condolensces go out to The Bailey family, as Brandon's grandmother passed away this past week.

Wrong, Eddie Vs Super Crazy was the 2nd last match on the first show, the main event was Low Ki Vs Chris Daniels Vs American Dragon ;-)
