I know. I know. Color Commentary is long, long over due. But, as you all know my father passed away in the beginning of December and life has been more than a roller coaster ride for me. Good news is, I am buying a house. Two story, brick, 5000 sq. ft. 5 bedrooms, fire place, wet bar, 2 car garage, jacuzzi, deck, hardwood floors.......the whole shabang! I'm excited. Its my first home and its really cool. Its gonna be a pimped out big time! I hope to get a BMW 645i before the summer, to really make it an MTV Crib. Now I just need to get that bottle of Crystal. 
2006 has started out as amazing year. Not only am I buying a home, starting my own mortgage company and really getting back to enjoying life, but my all time favorite wrestler/ good friend......Edge has finally achieved his dream of becoming WWE champion. Albeit, not in the most conventional way, but nonetheless, he will go into the history books at a WWE champion. His legacy is set. The angle they ran on RAW and his subsequent revival of 1997 with raunchy stuff is exactly what the WWE needs. Its fresh and its bold. And for those who thought what the WWE did was tasteless........2 words.......SUCK IT!!! And 2 letters as well......DX. Don't be a hypocrite and tell me what the WWE did was tasteless on RAW, yet you cheered DX. And everyone and I mean EVERYONE cheered for DX. Big ups to Edge for his WWE Title win and his not so new gimmick.
You have to remember that Edge was DX before DX was DX. Lets travel down memory lane to the early to mid nineties. In companies like ICW and PCW, Edge, then known as Sexton Hardcastle was already doing raunchy and vile. Sexton Hardcastle, Christian Cage, Terry The Rhino, Judd The Studd, Reckless Youth, Flash Flannaghan, and so many more made up members of both THUG Life and Revolution X. It was DX....before DX. And it worked. I have some great tapes of their stuff and they were mad over as heels. And yet, a few cheers began to grow and grow. Its about getting over and I think the WWE has finally figured it out.
Kudos to WWE on how they presented Cena on RAW this week. He finally acknowledged the booing and addressed it. By the end of the night, the entire audience was cheering Cena on again. WWE tried to ram Cena down our throats, as a white meat babyface. He needs to tell the crowd that boos him.....FU! Stick with the balancing act....it works. Proof was in the pudding.
More kudos to the WWE, as Kurt Angle is now the World Champion on Smackdown. You dont get any more credible than Angle. And Smackdown really needed some star power and still do. Glad to see Angle get the gold again. Just get rid of Davari. He sucks.
TNA continues to march in the right direction. The PPV this weekend looks great. Sting and Christian Cage together will be great. I am very interested to see how Sting is presented, how he looks and whether or not he can go in that ring again. Long time "little Stinger" here and I am very excited. Just dont linger on this. Do the tag match, Sting and Christian win. Feb. we get NWA Title...Christian vs. Jarrett.
Could Samoa Joe and AJ Styles put on a better match?! WOW!! Last month was increidble. Kudos to TNA!
Sting said in a press conference that Ultimate Warrior might make his TNA debut at some point this year. Can you say.......NOOOOOOOOOOO!?!?! Big name....cheap ratings. He can't wrestle and he is psycho. He will probably tell Monty Brown that he cannot be champ b/c he is black. I think Ultimate Warrior and Morbid Angel are one in the same.
Shawn Michaels book was awesome!! What a great read. Go pick it up!

Please keep Mike Quackenbush in your prayers. He has recently undergone surgery to repair some issues with his back. His career may be over. And that would be a huge shame, as Quack is one of the greatest junior heavyweights of all time! If you have never seen a Quack match.......you have truly missed out. Brandon Bailey and I were very lucky to see his last Chikara match to date, but hopefully not his last match ever. My prayers are with you Mike!
Here's to Chris Hero defeating Bryan "No Charisma" Danielson this weekend for the ROH Title. Go Hero Go! Go Hero Go!

Matt Hardy seems to have made a huge upgrade from horse faced Lita to Ashley. But something about Ashley's face is a bit off too. I would like to know what these women see in Matt Hardy though? The guy is jealous and possessive. I think it would be funny if WWE set up an angle where Edge "beds" Ashley. Now that would be RATED R!
