Unfortunately, Mr. Kyzer has had a stroke of bad luck this week and has some personal matters to attend to. Here are the results to Shotglass Saturday Night from 2/20. We are pushing the PPV off till next Sunday March 5th. It gives everyone an additional full week of roleplaying.
The evening opened with President Kyzer announcing that the match between Seth Xavier and Immune will not take place this evening. Kyzer said that it was nothing more than a ploy to sell more tickets, as the sell out audience booed. Kyzer laughed it up in the ring, as Seth Xavier's music exploded into the arena and Xavier marched to the ring. Xavier was none to happy. He made his emotions known, as he berated Kyzer for his deception. Kyzer shook his head and left the ring.
In the opening match, newcomer Rayne defeated Tha CBT with a pinfall victory.
In a strong contest, Luther Castle defeated Havok via pinfall with a small package in an outstanding contest.
In a non title contest, Justin Tyme scored the upset win over Caden Dean and has almost assured himself a Junior Heavyweight Title match in the near future.
Alex Reil edged out Rockin Lunatic.
In another fantastic match, Cyancyed edged out Morbid Angel and Method Cobra with a victory. President Kyzer came down to the ring following this match and shook the hand of Cyancyed, congratulating him on his hard fought match.
Kyzer again entered the ring, this time calling out The Valor World Heavyweight Champion. To an enormous eruption, Eric Hardcastle headed for the ring. He went face to face with Kyzer and a verbal tyrade ensued. Hardcastle started and Kyzer interrupted him. Kyzer went on to say that Eric Hardcastle was the World Champion because former President Steven Lynch wanted it that way. Hardcastle was always Lynch's boy. The match between he and Bailey should never had happened. Kyzer called Eric Hardcastle a paper champion and an unworthy one at that. Thats why he assigned him as the special guest referee for Excess. He said Eric Hardcastle didnt deserve to main event in the Kyzer Era. This drew the ire of the fans and the champion. Kyzer quickly snapped back into action, saying that the champion would not get the night off however. Instead, Kyzer is booking the champion in a title defense. However, this title defense would not be the main event. It won't even be in the mid card. The World Champion will open the show and defend the World Title. Hardcastle demanded to know who his oppoent was going to be. The lights in the arena began to flicker and upon the Valor Tron, it read "BEEZLEBUB". Hardcastle turned to face the entrance ramp, dropping the World Title. He stood ready for a fight. Unfortunately, from behind, Cecil Caster appeared, attacking Eric Hardcastle. Caster whacked Hardcastle over the head with a chair and then picked up the World Title, holding it above his head over the body of the champion. Kyzer applauded, as they got ready for the main event.
Finally, in a match of epic proportions.........the first ever one on one match between two legends, Zmaster and Mike Stryker.......these two fought all over the ringside area. What started as a technical war turned heated, as the fan favorites took it to the floor for a brutal war. In the end, the referee was knocked out of the ring and President Kyzer came to ringside with a chair. Suddenly, Seth Xavier came racing down and snatched the chair out of the hands of Kyzer, as Kyzer was setting up Stryker. Zmaster approached and grabbed Kyzer. Xavier swung and nailed Zmaster, as Kyzer ducked and rolled out of the ring. Xavier stood over Zmaster with a look of pure shock. Mike Stryker covered Zmaster and got the pin, as the referee reentered the ring. Stryker had his hand raised, as Zmaster sat up and began to stalk the number 1 contender! The screen faded to black.
