Kevin Olberman [10:06 P.M.]: Welcome to our second installement of Straight Shoot'n. Tonight, my guest is The New Valor World Heavyweight Champion, "The Assassin" Brandon Bailey. Welcome to the Shoot Brandon. I appreciate you joining us this late in the evening.
Brandon Bailey [10:07 P.M.]: Yeah whateva' Olberman...let's get this rollin'.
Kevin Olberman [10:08 P.M.]: First question. How did you break into this business we call professional wrestling and who were some of your influences?
Brandon Bailey [10:11 P.M.]: Well, it was a funny situation...I told everyone before that I was supposed ta' be a firefighta'. When I told my pops that I wanted ta' be a wrestla', he pretty much turned his back on me. Because I had no one ta' turn ta' anymore, I started hangin' out with my friends more often. One of my boys was tryin' ta' be a wrestla' and introduced me ta' his coach on the North Side of Chicago named Rudy Salinas.
Brandon Bailey [10:11 P.M.]: Rudy became my pops afta' that point
Kevin Olberman[10:12 P.M.]: So Rudy was sort of a father figure to you? Do you attribute your training to Rudy? Did anyone else assist you in training?
Brandon Bailey [10:13 P.M.]: Yeah...I was about 13 when I met him, and trained unda' him fa' 5 years. He had some help at his gym, but we bonded immediately so he took me soley unda' his wing.
Kevin Olberman [10:14 P.M.]: Still keep in touch with him to this day?
Brandon Bailey [10:15 P.M.]: Pretty much every month. He's not that healthy right now, and he's not all there, but he neva' fa'gets bustin' my chops ova' 20 years ago. He still laughs about it ta' this day.
Kevin Olberman [10:16 P.M.]: Who are some of your closest friends in the business?
Brandon Bailey [10:18 P.M.]: I'd have ta' say, Shane Michaels, we always had a great friendship, but no one could tell by tha' way we wrestled in tha' ring. Mike Stryker...will always be tha' only otha' Big City Hitman. I almost turned him inta' an alcoholic like me.
Brandon Bailey [10:18 P.M.]: That's really about it. Tha' rest are acquaintances
Kevin Olberman [10:19 P.M.]: HA! HA! Mike Stryker an alcoholic? Thats good stuff
Kevin Olberman [10:19 P.M.]: Who are some of your biggest enemies? Anyone you just couldn't get a long with in the locker room?
Brandon Bailey [10:19 P.M.]: Hmmm...good question.
Brandon Bailey [10:19 P.M.]: I've always had a good relationship with tha' otha' talent in tha' locka rooms. I honestly didn't have a guy I couldn't stand, or considered my enemy.
Kevin Olberman [10:20 P.M.]: Ok, fair enough. How did the The Assassin get started in UIW?
Brandon Bailey [10:23 P.M.]: I was in between a few promotions around tha' world, and an old booker friend of mine got in contact with me. He called me up and said that tha' UIW was tryin' ta' do a major angle with their current posta' boy. They needed someone who could play tha' absolute heel, but was a fresh face in tha' fed. I was tha' man who "took out" LHK Shane Michaels.
Kevin Olberman [10:24 P.M.]: I remember that. We're gonna talk about that angle a little later. Speaking of Shane Michaels, what do you really think of him?
Brandon Bailey [10:29 P.M.]: Shane was cool with me. There were times he did some shady stuff ta' put himself ova', but it neva' messed up our friendship. He could be self centered, and ego trip from time ta' time, but I don't blame him. He was tha' posta' boy fa' one of tha' biggest feds in tha' mid ta' late 90's, and wanted by feds all ova'. He was a great talent, and a great draw. Kevin Olberman [10:31 P.M.]: How about another friend of yours....Mike Stryker. You two were known to be pretty tight in wreslting circles. Whats the relationship like these days? Have you lost touch? Any chance we will see Stryker in Valor anytime soon?
Brandon Bailey [10:34 P.M.]: Mike and I lost contact about a year and half back. I had some personal things ta' take care of, and so did he. We were in tha' same fed at tha' time, tha' MWA, but weren't a team. We were still cool, but when tha' MWA shut down in early 2004, we both took a hiatus from tha' wrestlin' scene. Funny thing is, we both got active again at about tha' same time. He's puttin' in some major work in a fed called tha' NAWF, but I'm tryin' ta' get him ta' make an appearance in Valor as soon as possible.
Kevin Olberman [10:35 P.M.]: Do you think we will see Mike Stryker in Valor any time soon?
Brandon Bailey [10:37 P.M.]: Not too sure. I spoke with him on tha' phone about 3 days ago, and he was definitley interested, but so far no word. I left him a few messages, but hopefully he'll get back with me soon with good news. Mike is Mike, and sometimes he can be a hard ass when it comes ta' makin' decisions like that.
Kevin Olberman[10:38 P.M.]: Lets go back to the early days of your career. You joined UIW and immediately were thrust into a feud with Shane Michaels. Why? How did you get such a high profile feud so quickly? And correct me if I am wrong, but didnt you beat Shane for the UIW United States Title in your first match against him?
Brandon Bailey [10:42 P.M.]: Ok, my feud with Shane was story driven. Like I said earlia', tha' head UIW booka' called me and gave me tha' deal. They needed a fresh heel in tha' UIW. They already had runnin' feuds with Nick Bollea and Eric Stone. Tristan Caine was feudin' with his brotha' Adrian Caine, but they had no more top heels in tha' fed. Here they had a risin' young star in Shane with no feud, no bad guy, no reason ta' be a babyface. I was exactly what they needed. So I came in and injured Shane Michaels with tha' help of my two "brothers." I then ran through some of tha' midcard talent in tha' UIW until tha' return of Shane Michaels. When he did return, we had a match fa' his title, and I beat him.
Kevin Olberman [10:44 P.M.]: Two brothers?
Brandon Bailey [10:45 P.M.]: Yeah, Aaron "The Hammer" Bailey, and Jason Bailey. They didn't last long though...I'd say about a month and a half.
Kevin Olberman[10:45 P.M.]: Thats right. Man, Brandon, I guess the rumor is true that you do have an iron clad mind.
Brandon Bailey [10:46 P.M.]: And and Iron Liva'. HA!
Kevin Olberman [10:46 P.M.]: So 2 brothers and a sister? All involved in wrestling. WOW! I thought The Caine's were big.
Brandon Bailey [10:47 P.M.]: I know right? Tha' big difference is that Jason and Aaron weren't my real family. All of tha' Caines were blood

Kevin Olberman[10:48 P.M.]: You wrestled in a time the same period of time of when wrestling was so huge. You faced guys like Shane Michaels, Iron Curtain, Mike Stryker, Tristan Caine, etc. How do those guys compare to today's younger talents?
Brandon Bailey [10:49 P.M.]: Honestly...It's a different breed. Tha' guys today have a lot of talent at a young age. Some of tha' shit they do now, we neva' did when we first started. There's a big problem with that though. Their work ethic is lackin'. Because they're so good so young, they don't feel like they have ta' work as hard anymore. There's also like a million more feds out there now.
Kevin Olberman [10:52 P.M.]: Why do you think in a time where wrestling is on a downward spiral that there more and more feds around?
Brandon Bailey [10:52 P.M.]: Because people are pussies nowadays. No one wants ta' work fa' their accolades anymore. If they can't cut it in a major fed, they hook up with some otha' people and create their own fed. They want everyone ta' have a fair shake. Did ya' know that I only had one World Title shot in tha' UIW? I neva' left though. I stayed with it, busted my ass, and earned my name in this business.
Kevin Olberman [10:54 P.M.]: We're gonna talk about the UIW and The World Title in a moment. But first, How have you continued to persevere and reach greater heights, while guys like Michaels and Curtain are no longer involved with this business?
Brandon Bailey [10:56 P.M.]: Experience and dedication. Like I said before, these young boys today are light years ahead of me when I was their age, but I'm consistent. Michaels and Iron Curtain burned too many bridges. Too many political feuds, and personal feelin's were brought inta' this business. I just came ta' work, did my job, and that was it. Kevin Olberman [10:57 P.M.]: Lets talk about the one man that has been your boss for so much of your career, President J. McMahon. What has your relationship with McMahon been like? Compare it to the real person of Jay Ryan.
Brandon Bailey [10:59 P.M.]: Jay McMahon was an on air prick. He was an ass in tha' UIW and ACW, and definitley had his favorites. Jay Ryan has always been cool with me. He's been fair, has always been straight up with me, and that's why we're so cool ta' this day. Jay did his dirt in his younga' days, and he's been makin' an honest effort to salvage lost friendships. Luckily fa' both of us, we neva' had any problems. He's always asked fa' my creative input and opinions, and I respect him fa' that. He's actually tha' main reason I'm back wrestlin' again. Kevin Olberman [11:01 P.M.]: How much McMahon is in Jay Ryan? How much of Jay Ryan is in McMahon?
Brandon Bailey [11:04 P.M.]: Good question...Jay Ryan's on air personality Jay McMahon shows from time ta' time. If ya' asked me that question years ago, I'd say they were almost one in tha' same. Now, since Jay Ryan has taken a different approach ta' this business, his on screen persona isn't a strong in tha' real world. Now it's a definite difference in personalites. Jay spends more time as Jay Ryan than he does as Jay McMahon.
Kevin Olberman [11:05 P.M.]: Do you think Valor will ever see Jay McMahon return to television?
Brandon Bailey [11:06 P.M.]: Nah. If he decided ta' bring Jay McMahon back, it wouldn't make sense. Valor already has an Executive personality in Steve Lynch, so a Jay McMahon would just clutta' things.
Kevin Olberman [11:07 P.M.]: Staying on topic with McMahon.....when McMahon began to cut the roster, subsequently in half, did you worry you might be apart of those cuts back in 99? What was your feeling of American Championship Wrestling taking over?
Brandon Bailey [11:09 P.M.]: I was neva' really worried. At tha' time, I was active in two otha' feds; one I was World Champ in. If I was cut, I had somethin' ta' fall back on. Besides, I'm all fa' change in this business. It's gonna' happen whetha' ya' like it or not. So why fight it?
Kevin Olberman[11:10 P.M.]: Well, Mean Mike and I definitely had some concern. We didnt know what was going to happen. There were some former champions being let go without any real rhyme or reason.
Brandon Bailey [11:10 P.M.]: I think it was mostly personal.
Kevin Olberman [11:10 P.M.]: Personal? How so?
Brandon Bailey [11:10 P.M.]: A lot of tha' people who were "cut" left on their own because of difference of opinions. Otha's were just dead weight, or deserved ta' be cut.
Kevin Olberman [11:11 P.M.]: What do you think made Jay Ryan/McMahon such a powerful and savvy wrestling promoter? Looking over history, Jay Ryan took a small company and began a world dominance. Think of all the companies that he either raided or bought out. CWF, RAW, FWWF, EWCW. The list goes on and on.
Brandon Bailey [11:14 P.M.]: I think it was his love of tha' business. He had such a desire ta' work, that when he was a part of those otha' feds, they just let him take ova'. That wasn't always his intention, but that's what usually happened. Hell, at one point RAW, or Real American Wrestling, was THE #1 Fed. They had temp contracts with Shane Michaels, Tristan Caine, Train, Jack Spoof, Mr. Man, Cancer, Dead Carnival...Tha' list goes on and on. Jay was just bein' Jay, and tha' shit just fell in his lap.
[11:18 P.M.]: What made working for Jay more appealing than the company someone was originally at? You did not start in UIW. You started with CWF before it became RAW, but you made your mark in UIW.
Brandon Bailey [11:21 P.M.]: It was probably because of tha' friendship that we developed. CWF and RAW was a corrupt ass fed. If tha' boss Arny Vee didn't like you, or if you weren't on his favorites list, ya' didn't get a push. It had nothin' ta do with talent. Jay may have done that in his earlia' days ta' drive angles or stories, but if someone deserved a push, he at least gave it ta' them.
Kevin Olberman [11:21 P.M.]: Unfortunately, 2001 marked the end of ACW. Jay Ryan sold the company to Matt Meola, who could not keep the company running and subsequently, it fell apart. What happened? Why couldnt Matt continue that historical success?
Brandon Bailey [11:24 P.M.]: Matt had alotta' shit on his plate. He spread himself too thin, and tha' ACW fell apart. He reopened it again, but it was more of tha' same. Matt then came back with tha' MWA, or Midwestern Wrestlin' Alliance, and a lot of tha' old UIW/ACW talent was in it. That fed started off as a "minor league" of sorts fa' tha' newly revamped RAW. Eventually MWA took ova' RAW, but history usually repeats itself. Matt spread himself too thin again, and that fell apart too.
Kevin Olberman [11:25 P.M.]: I thought Jay Ryan bought out RAW before the millenium?
Brandon Bailey [11:26 P.M.]: Yeah, but in 2002 Arny Vee somehow brought it back for a very short time. Kevin Olberman [11:27 P.M.]: 2005, we saw Jay Ryan return to professional wrestling, attaining all the copyrights to ACW. What were your initial feelings about returning to the company that helped make you a star?
Brandon Bailey [11:29 P.M.]: Well, afta' Jay sued tha' hell outta' Arny fa' bringin' RAW back, and tha' MWA thrived, then collapsed in a firey ball of garbage, I was pretty drained. So from 2004 ta' mid 2005, I was nowhere near a wrestlin' ring. I started ta' get tha' wrestling bug back in my system, and then as fate would have it, Jay called me up. We talked for a few hours, and I was happy ta' be back. It felt good ta' be in a familia' setting Kevin Olberman [11:30 P.M.]: What was it like to rekindle the relationship with Jay Ryan?
Brandon Bailey [11:32 P.M.]: It felt good ta' shoot tha' shit with Jay again. We've always gotten along tha' best out of tha' old locka'room. Jay disappeared ta' recharge his batteries, and that's tha' only reason why we stopped talkin'.
Kevin Olberman[11:33 P.M.]: Any truth to the rumor, you were the first person he contacted about returning and that if you did not agree, ACW would not have risen like a phoenix from the ashes?
Brandon Bailey [11:34 P.M.]: I don't know. I think I was, but I didn't care if I was first or last. By tha' time I finished tha' paperwork, I wasn't tha' first one ta' sign. Tristan Caine was already there, and so was a bunch of new talent. I was just glad I was there fa' tha' comeback.
Kevin Olberman [11:35 P.M.]: You sound pretty happy about being with ACW/Valor.
Brandon Bailey [11:35 P.M.]: It's good ta' back.
Kevin Olberman [11:35 P.M.]: When ACW and TWA decided to merge, what did you think of this acquistion?
Brandon Bailey [11:37 P.M.]: I was a little hesitant because of all tha' work that went inta' bringin' tha' ACW back. Jay actually brought it directly ta' my attention and was very adimant about what his conditions were fa' tha' merger. I told him my opinion, and we were off ta' new ground.
Kevin Olberman[11:37 P.M.]: Did you feel that Jay was making the right move? For 13 years, he ran the show pretty much on his own. Now he would have 2 partners for the first time. Could Jay's ego survive amongst 2 others?
Brandon Bailey [11:39 P.M.]: I think it was fa' tha' best. It helps ta' surpress those old instincts, and it gives him a break from all tha' blame. He'll no longa' be soley responsible fa' what happens in front of tha' camera on Sundays.
End Of Part 1.

I've been reading the history of the company and found it somewhat fascinating. The ideas behind it and the history is amazing. I dont know of a fed that can honestly trace its roots back for over a decade. Obviously, Brandon Bailey has been one that has been around for quite awhile. I heard about Bailey a few years back and he was in the same fed I was in, but we never encountered one another. This interview write up is a phenomenal idea. Gives us a different perpsective. Like Saint, I too look forward to the next read. Great job guys!

Damn, this shoot idea is great. I've been in and out of feds with Bailey for a few years now and it's amazing some of the crap this guy remembers. I actually read it like 2 or 3 times because it was almost like a trip down memory lane. Ah, memories!

Kevin Olberman [4:46 P.M.]: Welcome back to Straight Shootn'.......With Brandon Bailey. This is now part 2. I think this shoot is going rather well, don't you think?
Brandon Bailey1 [4:47 P.M.]: Yeah...Brings back memories
Kevin Olberman [4:47 P.M.]: Lets get right back into it. In your opinion, has Valor turned out to be a success?
Brandon Bailey [4:48 P.M.]: I think so...especially with me bein' tha' champ. Overall it seems like it's found it's niche and is finally startin' make way.
Kevin Olberman [4:48 P.M.]: What was it like to win The Valor World Title? Take us through that match with Saku.
Brandon Bailey [4:50 P.M.]: Honestly it was a blur. Saku is a great talent no doubt, but I was prepared fa' this from day one. I was in tha' best condition of my life...Seriously. Winnin' tha' title didn't hit me until tha' next mornin' when I woke up with it still around my waist.
Kevin Olberman [4:50 P.M.]: This was your first World Title win in a Jay Ryan owned/operated company. Why do you think you never wore the World Title back in the UIW days?
Brandon Bailey [4:52 P.M.]: Wasn't my time. I had tha' ability ta' take any of their champs to tha' limit, but I didn't have that edge. My personality was ahead of tha' times and just didn't fit inta' what tha' UIW needed.
Kevin Olberman [4:52 P.M.]: Why do you think that was the case? What kind of personality were they looking for?
Brandon Bailey [4:55 P.M.]: Wrestlin' was still in a time of black and white sides. Eitha' ya' were a supa' babyface or ultra heel. I was neitha' at tha' time...Well I was when I first showed up, but tha' more time I spent there, tha' more my image became a shade of gray. I was successful no doubt, but not far enough on eitha' side ta' get that necessary push on a regula' basis.
Kevin Olberman [4:56 P.M.]: Why do you think wrestling has changed to main stream acceptance of a "shades of grey" wrestler over the traditional "super baby face" or "ultra heel"?
Brandon Bailey [4:59 P.M.]: I think it's society as a whole. People nowadays don't want ta' accept tha' babyface unless he's a joke. They believe there are no more pure people in tha' world. On tha' otha' hand, people don't like pure assholes. They look fa' realism, and I give that.
Kevin Olberman [5:02 P.M.]: There is a lot of merit to what you said. On the road to the World Title, you encountered Eric Hardcastle. Hardcastle has only been around for a few years, but has become one of you biggest and most hated opponents. You guys had a match during the tournament, that many have argued is the greatest match in the history of this great sport? What made it so special?
Brandon Bailey [5:07 P.M.]: Hardcastle and I are an example of tha' new breed of rivalries in this business. yeah I'm a heel and Hardcastle is a babyface, but we still float around that gray shaded area. I think Hardcastle is a great worka', and that's why we go at eachotha' so damn hard. We mesh well in togetha' tha' ring and don't hold back.
Kevin Olberman [5:12 P.M.]: What was Hardcastle's reaction to doing the job for you?
Brandon Bailey [5:15 P.M.]: It was pretty funny. He hates losin' so much that he actually kicked a chair and stubbed his toe. I couldn't help but laugh and neitha' could he. Hardcastle took it gracefully and unda'stood that his time will come.
Kevin Olberman [5:15 P.M.]: Speaking of Eric Hardcastle, how is your relationship with him outside of the ring? Do you guys get along?
Brandon Bailey [5:18 P.M.]: Yeah we're pretty cool. I'm pretty much a lona' in this business, but Hardcastle doesn't get on my nerves. He's actually like a big tanned sponge. He soaks up old stories, knowledge, and tips like a sponge does liquid.
Kevin Olberman [5:19 P.M.]: Is he really dating your real life sister Brittney?
Brandon Bailey [5:20 P.M.]: Yeah, and I really kicked his ass tha' first time he showed up...but he came back and I left him alone.
Kevin Olberman [5:20 P.M.]: How did that come about? How do you feel about it?
Brandon Bailey [5:22 P.M.]: It's just tha' business. We spend so much time on tha' road, ya' bound ta' meet eachotha's family and friends eventually. Britt came ta' on of tha' old ACW shows, she was hangin' out in tha' back while I was in tha' ring. Hardcastle didn't know she was my sis'...Britt didn't tell him eitha'. They started talkin', and on tha' day of their first date, she asked me ta' come ova'. Tha' rest is history. I think he's a nice guy, but he already knows that if he breaks her heart, I'll break his neck.
Kevin Olberman [5:23 P.M.]: HA! HA! And I bet you could do it too. During the angle you worked with Eric over the past 2 months, how did you feel about doing the semi-babyface turn?
Brandon Bailey [5:25 P.M.]: It was weird. Neva' been a babyface in my twenty year career. It was strange ta' come out of tha' back and hear cheers from tha' crowd in places otha' than Chicago.

Kevin Olberman [5:25 P.M.]: What was it like to walk out into an arena and hear fans cheer you?
Brandon Bailey [5:25 P.M.]: Fuckin' strange Olba'man. That's all I can say.
Kevin Olberman [5:26 P.M.]: Eric Hardcastle, after taking a small break from pro wrestling, returned early this year to WFWF. He had a small stay there and then abruptly left. Why didnt you ever join WFWF?
Brandon Bailey [5:28 P.M.]: Neva' got tha' invite and didn't have tha' time. Tha' first place ta' call me back ta' tha' ring was tha' ACW. I took a look at tha' WFWF, but I needed ta' take one step at a time. Tha' ACW needed a vet ta' help out in tha' locka'room, and that was a full time job.
Kevin Olberman [5:29 P.M.]: Were you approached by Flaps? Did Hardcastle being there influence you? When he left, did that influence you?
Brandon Bailey [5:32 P.M.]: I wasn't approached by Flaps until afta' tha' ACW merged with tha' TWA. He gave me an offa', but I was still caught up in tha' merga' and needed ta' get grounded here first. Hardcastle did bring tha' WFWF ta' my attention, and him leavin' did sway my decision some what.
Kevin Olberman [5:33 P.M.]: Who in Valor that you have not worked with would you like to work a match against and why?
Brandon Bailey [5:35 P.M.]: That's a tough one because tha' talent pool changes so damn much here. If I had ta' choose, I would say ZMasta' because I hear and have seen good things on him. I would also like ta' see what Tha' Sin City Saint has in him now. When he first came here he was still pretty green. Now Saint is gettin' his feet unda' him and lookin' pretty good.
Kevin Olberman [5:35 P.M.]: If you had to name 1 match as your greatest match EVER, what match would it be?
Brandon Bailey [5:35 P.M.]: Hmmm... I would have ta' my match against Blackwolf in tha' Stairway Ta' Alcoholism Match in tha' UIW.
Kevin Olberman: If you had to name 1 person as your greatest opponent, who would that be?
Brandon Bailey [5:39 P.M.]: Shane Michaels...A long memorable war.
Kevin Olberman [5:39 P.M.]: Out of the entire roster, who is the one guy that you think should be wearing the World Title? And why?
Brandon Bailey [5:41 P.M.]: Me...because I bust my ass week in and week out. I neva' complain' about what I consida' ta' be bullshit, I just do my damn job. It's got nothin' ta' do with seniority or who I know on tha' bookin' committee; it's all about my work ethic. Ya' can only name one guy in tha' back who's shown up time and time again, and tha's me.
Kevin Olberman [5:42 P.M.]: Actually, I can name 3 more.......Eric Hardcastle, Sin City Saint and ZMaster.
Brandon Bailey [5:43 P.M.]: Well that's ya' opinion Olba'man, but that wasn't ya' question was it?
Kevin Olberman [5:43 P.M.]: No it wasn't. Was just merely making an observation
Brandon Bailey [5:44 P.M.]: Well great! Ya' want a cookie? Keep it goin'
Kevin Olberman [5:44 P.M.]: Before I upset you anymore and find myself on the wrong end of The Chicago Crippler, Lets do a little name association. I throw out a name and you say the first thing that comes to mind. Ready?
Brandon Bailey [5:44 P.M.]: Shoot
Kevin Olberman [5:44 P.M.]: BANG! HA! HA! HA!
Brandon Bailey [5:44 P.M.]: ...
Kevin Olberman [5:45 P.M.]: Sorry. Sin City Saint
Brandon Bailey [5:45 P.M.]: Hard worka', great talent waitin' ta' break out.
Kevin Olberman [5:45 P.M.]: Mike Stryker
Brandon Bailey [5:45 P.M.]: Close friend, hard ass, still workin' on gettin' his ass inta' tha' VWA.
Kevin Olberman [5:46 P.M.]: Jay Ryan
Brandon Bailey [5:46 P.M.]: One of tha' most passionate people about this business.
Kevin Olberman [5:47 P.M.]: Tristan Caine
Brandon Bailey [5:47 P.M.]: Great talent, but can be a flake sometimes.
Kevin Olberman [5:47 P.M.]: Shane Michaels
Brandon Bailey [5:48 P.M.]: Good friend, great rivalry, wonder what tha' hell he's doin' right now.
Kevin Olberman [5:48 P.M.]: Steven Lynch
Brandon Bailey [5:48 P.M.]: Enthusiastic owna', good hiring sense.
Kevin Olberman [5:48 P.M.]: Kevin Olberman
Brandon Bailey [5:48 P.M.]: Ya' sure ya' wanna' know?
Kevin Olberman [5:48 P.M.]: Oh great! Might as well.
Brandon Bailey [5:49 P.M.]: Best play by play announca' in tha' business...but get's on my damn nerves.
Kevin Olberman [5:49 P.M.]: Uhh...thank you, I think. Mean Mike Patrick
Brandon Bailey [5:50 P.M.]: Funny as hell, my numba' one fan since day one.
Kevin Olberman [5:50 P.M.]: Jose Cuervo
Brandon Bailey [5:50 P.M.]: Great drink...great times...bad memories.
Kevin Olberman [5:51 P.M.]: Eric Hardcastle
Brandon Bailey [5:51 P.M.]: One of tha' brightest risin' stars of this business.
Kevin Olberman [5:51 P.M.]: Most over rated Valor Superstar
Brandon Bailey [5:52 P.M.]: Was Justin Tyme, now I'd say Chad West.

This was a very interesting read overall. Brandon, you certainly have had an interesting and descriptive history for your character. You must have a wonderful memory. I very much enjoyed the end when Olberman would say a name and you responded with the first thing that came to mind. Are those your actual first words or was this edited at all, to make more sense. Either way, I truly enjoyed the read.

Curious but is the "Straight Shootin'" series done with or something?
