Iv'e recetly heard online, and other sources, that the band Avenged Seven Fold might be getting Banned for a line from the Song *Trashed and Scattered* in the album City Of Evil. This is the line
Your Just Raping yourself
In my opinion, this is a stupid case, because if you look at a lot of Rap, and other new songs lately, they odnt get banned for talking about Rape, Murder, etc. Thanks for your time in this.

This is stupid. For one line in one song, they're going to ban one of the most popular bands around? I doubt it will happen, they sell too much merchandise and earn radio stations money, and with the corparation always seeming to hold onto the things that bring in the dollars, it won't happen. If it does, then i'll be damn suprised. Maybe we should get Nine Inch Nails band then too for "hurt": "I hurt myself today, to see if i still feel, i focus on the pain, the only thing that's real" Or you know, maybe we should stop Nirvana from being played ever again because of that song titled "Rape Me". Government seem to be targetting alot of things rock recently. Yet people like Eminem and 50 cent can rap about whatever they f**k they want, and get it passed off as music. Same things happened with wrestling if you've noticed? R&B and Rap is taking over the once Rock territory. Guys breaking the law and women stripping has been replaced by gay men, bad gimmicks and HLA. (If you can even call it that.) I think it's because that's what the creators/government think the kids want and what will make the parents happy.  ... Yea cause my parents want me to tell them I've been out with some homies, shooting up the bar. |

It makes no since Nirvana had the song Rape Me. Rappers make alot of songs talking shit about cops and murder and drugs. SYOD's song BYOB talked about the President. Come on now I just think its stupid, Freedom of Speech!

I think it is stupid. I never heard the music I never heard of the band and I probably will never want to listen to them. Now. The line “your raping yourself” is why right? Well Tracy Chapman (along time ago. Before a lot of your time hehe) had a song called “Rape the World” Cannibal Corpse has songs like “Stripped, Raped, and Strangled” and A nal C unt has a lot of songs like “I hope he rapes you” you got raped because you’re a bitch” then there are bands like Waco Jesus, A nal Blast and Meat Shits that do all their songs about forcing women into sexual acts. (Example- the songs “Butt Plug in your P*ssy and my fist up your ass”, “Bow to the Penis God Bitch, Oh Honey your bloody hole)
this day and age we are forced to be sensitive to OTHER PEOPLE NEEDS! I remember a dispute years ago when they took the twin towers out of the movie Spider Man because people would freak out when they saw it because of what happened in Amerika. People you should get use to it because before you know it other people will cry for you. A bunch of babies I think! Oh you can’t talk about so much stuff these days before it might offend or it might anger or it might hurt! F*ck that! When I want to talk about something I talk about it! When I was doing Death Metal about 2-3 years ago we did songs that I am sure would be considered ban! I feel that if a such thing of Freedom of Speech exists then why such a big deal? GG Allin had a song called “I’m A Rapist” and he is still on a label.. Granted that he died back in 1992 but that is not the point! All the bands I listed are still making music and still selling albums around the world (except Cannibal Corpse. They have been banned in 13 countries)
I say that if this band wants to lay down and give into Propaganda then let them! I say they should fight the system! Burn flags and shit!

What the fuck, A7X banned? That's just stupid. For one, I hear MUCH WORSE then the line your are just raping yourself. That is just gay. For one, they are huge in the main stream now....even thought a part of my hates to hear that, they are. Banning them would like totally suck. I really hope this is false, because I love their music.
Rap can get away with their remarks in their songs, pop singers can get away with shaking their asses in videos, however A7X can't get away with a comment about rape? Society blows.
