- Gene Snitsky vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr. Lots of chants of "Eddy." Chavo wins at 4:18 via the frog splash.
New Year's Revolution PPV
* Promo for the elimination chamber match opens the broadcast with WWE superstars talking about how dangerous the chamber is.
* Styles & Coach are in the booth at ringside. No Lawler at this point, who is scheduled to face Gregory Helms.
(1) Edge with Lita vs. Ric Flair for the IC title. Match starts with Edge attacking Flair from behind before the bell rings. Flair wins via DQ at 7:17 when the "Nature Boy" slaps on the figure four leg lock on Lita, but Edge runs in with a chair and splits open Flair's forehead.
After the match, Edge nails Flair with the money in the bank brief case.
* Backstage, Grisham interviews Angle and Daiviri. Angle says he hopes the U.S. loses the war and would like to force Jesus to tap out. Angle says no matter what he says, the fans cheer for him. He says he won his first title in Albany, and tonight, he's going to do it again.
In the ring, Flair is bloody as the officials help him to the back.
(2) Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James for the Women's title. Styles points out that Trish's one year title reign started at last years NYR PPV where took the strap from Lita. Not much crowd reaction to this one. A small chant of "lets go Mickie" could be heard. James kicks out after a 2 count following a spin buster by Stratus. James hit Stratus with her own move, the stratusfaction, but waited to long and allowed Stratus to kick out. Stratus wins with a chick kick at 7:18.
* Maria interviewed herself about the gauntlet match until Gregory Helms interrupted. Helms says Lawler won't be able to call the divas match because he is going to take of "The King."
* Shelton Benjamin and his mother arrive. Shelton says he has no match, but his mama points out that he hasn't been eating right lately.
(3) Jerry Lawler vs. Gregory Helms. A filler match with no heat. During the match, Helms puts on Lawler's announcer's head set. Coach says he can join him and Joey any time, and Helms says "Joey who?" King pinned Helms following a fist drop at 9:32.
* Backstage, Stratus and Lita have a stare down. James says her mickie kick isn't as good as the chick kick and hugs the victor.
* Benjamin's mother puts down the backstage food. When she bends over, Viscera (dressed in a smoking jacket) hits on her, saying she has "junk in the truck."
(4) Triple H vs. The Big Show. Styles and Coach elude to the big annoucement earlier today (HHH and Stephanie are expecting their first child), just pointing out that he may have other things on his mind. The Big Show is wrestling with a huge cast on his right hand. Looks like a white boxing glove. About five minutes into the match, HHH gets the cast off the Show, exposing his broken hand. After Hunter worked on the hand, the Big Show was unable to chokeslam HHH. Following a referee bump, the Show breaks the shaft of HHH's sledgehammer. The two brawl on the outside of the ring, as the referee remains knocked out. The Show tries to hit the chokeslam with the left hand, but HHH blocks with the broken sledgehammer. As the ref recovers, HHH hits the pedigree for the victory at 16:12.
* Backstage, Carlito and Masters discuss the chamber match. Carlito points out that the rest of members of the chamber have been world champion. Carlito suggests they work together in the chamber.
* Following a promo for the Royal Rumble, The King joins the broadcast booth.
* Shelton and his mother come to the ring. Shelton calls out Viscera, but mama Benjamin grabs the mic and says her son is going to kick Viscera's butt. Out comes big Vis, which doesn't make Shelton too happy.
(5) Shelton Benjamin vs. Viscera. Viscera hits the Samoan drop, but is unable to roll over for a pin attempt. Through the whole match, mama Benjamin yells encouragements at Shelton. Another match with no heat. Benjamin wins with a spinning kick at 7:48. Benjamin's losing streak is finally over.
* Vince wishes HBK good luck backstage. McMahon says he is going to need it as no one has ever entered the chamber #1 and won the match. HBK said he won the royal rumble starting at #1, and there is a first time for everything.
* Promo for Wrestlemania 22, which is 4/2.
(6) Bra & Panties gauntlet match: Maria vs. Victoria vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Candice Michelle vs. Ashley
A. Started with Candice v. Maria. Maria wins, stripping her opponent down to bra and panties at 2:11
B. Maria vs. Torrie Wilson. With Wilson arguing with the ref, Maria pulls off Wilson's bottoms at 5:01
C. Maria vs. Victoria. Victoria takes down Maria at 6:17 and out comes Moolah and Mae Young. The stripper music starts, and Mae pulls off her top. Young's bra has red pointers on them. Victoria goes after Mae. Moolah holds down Victoria as Mae and Moolah pull off Victoria's top.
D. At 10:40, the match continued with Ashley vs. Victoria. The diva search winner pulls off Victoria's clothes at 11:03, as Ashley wins the match and pulls off her own top revealing a red bra, and pulls off her skirt.
* Backstage, Mama Benjamin revealed a brick in the purse she hit Viscera with, as she hugs a puzzled Shelton.
I guess "Raw" is over now, as we head to the main event.
(7) Elimination chamber match: Shawn Michaels vs. John Cena vs. Kurt Angle vs. Carlito vs. Chris Masters vs. Kane. Styles points out that today is Masters' 23rd birthday. Lawler acknowleged a mixed reaction for Cena when he came to the chamber.
- Started with Cena vs. HBK. Chants of "Cena sucks" could be heard.
- Third man in is Carlito... Carlito went right after Cena which got a babyface pop. Fans are really booing Cena.
- With no one eliminated at this point, Angle is the fourth to enter and goes after Cena, HBK and Carlito. At the 10:00 mark, HBK is split open and bleeding by going face first into the cage thanks to Angle.
- With Angle having Carlito in the ankle lock, Masters enters next and saves Carlito. No one eliminated, and only Kane is left to enter.
- HBK gives Angle sweet chin music at 13:58, and Angle is the first man ELIMINATED.
- Kane's chamber is open at the 16:40 mark.
- Kane chokeslams a bloodied HBK and then Cena, but Masters applies the masterlock from behind on Kane. Masters and Carlito double team Kane.
- At 19:25, Kane is ELIMINATED by Masters and Carlito.
- 4 remain: HBK, Cena, Masters and Carlito.
- At 22:15, HBK drops a top rope elbow onto Cena, but has no energy to cover him.
- HBK hits sweet chin music on Cena, but can't cover him because of Carlito coming after him.
- Carlito pins and ELIMINATED HBK at 23:36. Carlito, Masters, and Cena remain. Carlito and Masters are still working together.
- Cena is busted open due to a DDT by Masters on the champion on the outside of the ring.
- Carlito double crosses Masters, and ELIMINATED Masters.
- Cena rolls up Masters and ELIMINATED him to win the match.
* McMahon comes out, and tells them to lift the elimination chamber, and announces that Edge is cashing in on his money in the bank title match.
(8) Cena vs. Edge. A bloodied Cena kicks out of a spear to the disbelief of Edge. A second spear, Edge pins Cena and wins the WWE title at just under 2 minutes.
* Afterwards, Edge and Lita celebrate. Lita puts the WWE title belt around Edge's waist.
