We fade in on the sight of a high school, the camera panning around until it came to a stone scuplture that shows the name of the highschool; Ogden High School. The camera pans back to the school itself just as the bell rings, signalling the end of the school day. Kids start pouring out of the doors of the building, Pohatu being actually being among them, waving at the camera man as he noticed him. Pohatu high fived a couple of the kids then jogged over to the camera, grinning a bit.
Pohatu: Probably seems odd that I would visit a high school, but this building actually has some significance to it. This building was where I had my first girlfriend, my first date, my first failing class. This was my high school back when I was that age, and believe me when I said that I was not the popular kid. I wasn't the bully, but I wasn't exactly the nerd that was constantly curled up in a corner, reading or drawing something. I was just...there. No one really cared for me, and when it came right down to it, I didn't really care for any of them. But after high school, I went to a wrestling school down in Eldon Missouri, run by Harley Race himself. Once there, I was taught by everyone that was there. Harley Race himself, Trevor Murdoch, a few Japan guys, even Chris Benoit visited a couple of times. But, I was there for only a year when one of my school buddies arrived and decided that my time at being liked by everyone else was done. He immeadiatley started spreading rumors about me, just like back in high school, and I was immeadiately outcasted. So I left that training school and went to Ring of Honor's training school in Philidelphia...and they led me to VWA.
Pohatu sighed and nodded towards the driveway of the school, the camera man nodding and started to walk towards, Pohatu walking to the right and a bit in front of the camera man.
Pohatu: When I first arrived in Valor, people weren't quite sure waht to think of me. Sure, I was a tad boastful, but that's expected. Now...some people seem to be getting it. Shane Quickenbosh and ZMaster are ones that immeadiately come to mind when it comes to people who realize who I am and what I can do. People like Immune, William Dinero, and Havok...are ones that don't seem to get what I can do. I didn't cook up the nickname of the 'Electric Enigma' myself. That nickname was given to me by JWA:EWA's ActionZone champion, The Invincinble, in my one match I had against him before JWA shut down again. The top champion of ActionZone, not me. Not even the owners of any companies I've been in. Havok, you claim that just because I was on the recieving end of quite a bit of offense that I'm not that good. Well, go watch the match again, buddy. I was battling back with more effort than you could probably do if you got stuck in that situation. You and Dinero may be two of the best light heavyweights in Valor TODAY, but the future is starting to roll in. With the future rolling in, so does the new talent, the talent that's going to shape the future of Valor itself. I'm one of those new talents, Havok. You may be the veteran here, but I'm not going to back down from you because of that. I'm ready to battle my heart out, no matter what perdicament I end up in. You and Dinero start beating me in your corner? Fine, I'll be striking back against you as much as I can to make sure that neither of you can get some steam rolling against me. But Havok, I really hope that doesn't happen. I want to see an honorable battle between us, not some battle that the two of us will look back on later on in your lives and wonder why we resorted to such an ugly battle. Havok...do you have a Code of Honor?
Pohatu left this question hanging on the air as he turned and faced towards the camera, having come to a complete stop. The camera man did the same as he refocuses on the camera on Pohatu's face, zooming in just a bit. A soft sigh escapes his lips now as he lightly shook his head, obviously not sure about what he was about to say.
Pohatu: Dinero, management must either have it out for you and me, or they just must like our battles that much. This makes it, what, three matchs in a row now? You may be out to expose me, Dinero, but all I'm out there to do is assert myself as one of the top players in Valor. Have I done that, Dinero? Have I shown that I have what it takes to become a champion in Valor? Have I gained your respect yet? Are you going to actually shake my hand at Slam, or are you going to just slap it away like some immature child who didn't get the toy he wanted for Christmas? Dinero, if you really want to show each and every one of those people in the audience that you're one of the top superstars in Valor, you will shake my hand at Slam. You will show that you have a Code of Honor. If you don't...you're just showing everyone that what I said was right. You're nothing but a money hound who cares for no one except himself. The only important person in the world is you, right Dinero? Well guess what, you're going to have to realize that you and me are on the same ship here sooner or later. To be a light heavyweight in this age of professional wrestling is a curse. Not many companies seem to think that light heavyweights are important. Valor doesn't seem to be that way, and I'm grateful, but I'm praying that people like you and me are confined to the Junior Heavyweight title, Dinero. You and me both know that we could make it in the North American and World Heavyweight title divisions, probably even taking the titles. How do you plan to make it big, Dinero, if you don't aim for something bigger than the title that was made for us? You may deserve it more than your partner, Havok, and my partner, Paine, but you and me could both do so much. Dinero...I want to see you start battling towards the North American title. Prove to me that you can handle yourself in something bigger than a light heavyweight match. Prove it to everyone.
Pohatu pulled out a bottle of Sierra Mist and twisted off the cap, glancing at the inside of it before taking a couple of gulps from it. He lowered the bottle back down and twisted the cap back onto it, dropping his hands down out of sight of the camera, the bottle in one of them.
Pohatu: And finally, we come to my partner, the 'Paine in the butt' Martin Paine. Now, I'm not totally sure how you and me got stuck together in this match, to be perfectly honest. The way you won that number one contender spot was the coward's way out. A LADDER inside of an Ultimate X match. Tell me, Paine, since when have ladders been allowed in that type of match? The first rule that was given to that match, when it was made, was NO LADDERS! Paine, if you beat Havok and win the Junior Heavyweight title, I have a challenge for you. You and me, inside of a ladder match. That way, you can use those worthless ladder whenever you want to. But now, you and me are stuck together in a tag match against Havok and the 'Money Hound' Will Dinero. Our styles almost compliment each other, Paine, almost. You seem to like to keep it on the ground with brawling and some mat work, where as I like to take it to the air and amaze the crowd with how I'm able to combine even the most basic of brawling moves with the insanity of high flying. Paine, we need to make sure we're able to combine our styles to beat Dinero and Havok if we want to win. In fact, Paine, you go after Dinero. You keep him busy with all your matwork, and then I'll have Havok wonder where in the world he is when I get him spinning around so quickly that he'll be dizzy to the point of where he pukes his guts out. Probably his lungs, too, since that moron is destroying his career by smoking.
Pohatu glanced around, nodding a bit as he saw that the majority of the school kids had disappeared, then turning back to the camera with a bit of a grin.
Pohatu: Paine, you and me are partners this week, but don't think for a moment that were permanent allies. This week only, if I have anything to say about it, will be our only time working together. William Dinero, this is the fourth time, altogether, that you and me have faced off. The Lightning may have failed to strike you down a couple of times now, but this time...I'll put a shock to your system! And Havok, don't think I've forgotten about you. This is our first time facing off, and there's only one thing that you need to know; The Lightning Will Strike you Down!
With this, Pohatu turned from the camera and jogged off towards a group of high school seniors that hadn't left yet, high fiving a bunch of them of before hopping into a car and driving away as we fade...to...black.
