We come into focus looking over a newly built house on a huge amount of land. There is a truck by the front door of the new house. The truck is a rental truck from U-Haul and there is about 3-4 guys unloading the truck. They are taking in the heavy furniture in first such as the newly bought couches and lazy boy recliners. We can tell they are new because they are still wrapped in plastic and still have the price tags on them. The movers finish up unloading the truck. They close the back door of the truck and latch the lock. We see a man in the corner of our eye standing in the doorway as the truck is leaving. We look directly at the man and notice it is Valor superstar Immune. He has his arms crossed and is leaning up against the wall. He is wearing a black suit with a red tie with a white undershirt on. The collar is buttoned and he is wearing black dress shoes. He has black sunglasses on and is holding a black leather briefcase in his hand. He turns around and walks back into the house. We follow and make our way into the front door. We walk in and notice the inside is painted and new carpet but the walls are blank. There is a fireplace in the left corner of the living room. In a plastic foldout chair is the black leather suitcase. We walk up to it and look at it, but not touching it. Out of another hallway comes Immune with a glass of water in hand. He takes a sip of water and then begins to talk.
Immune: Well, this is just swell isn’t it? A brand new home for the North American Champion. I mean why don’t I deserve to treat myself once in a while to something new. With all the extra money that is going into my pocket from being associated with the best faction ever, The Impact Players. I get paid big money when I win matches and if you haven’t noticed I have done a lot of that lately. With all the money I have invested from Valor I decided Immune needed to move up in technology and have a well modern home instead of a shack in the middle of nowhere. When you are an important person within something, your appearance really matters. With these new stylish clothes and this huge well designed house people are going to think of me as not only an important figure but as their god.
He grabs the briefcase off of the plastic folding chair and lays it on the carpet. He unbuckles the latches on the briefcase and lifts up the North American Championship out of it. He then lays it on the carpet and walks into the other room. He comes back after a short time and is carrying a hammer with a nail. He walks over in front of the fireplace and begins hammering the nail into the wall. After a couple soft swings the nail is attached firmly and he walks back over to the belt. He takes a seat Indian-style on the carpet and begins messing with the leather strap on the back of the belt. He then begins to speak.
Immune: You know something. Lately I have been put up against the biggest names in this industry and every time I have succeeded. Other than when my own partner, someone I considered family, decided to slip and make a mistake by costing the Impact Players the match at Halloween Horrors. You all witnessed a bizarre ending that night. After that it was hard for me to trust him, especially since he still has a title shot guarantee for this title. I know he knew what he was doing. He made a statement to the public that the animal Immune could in fact be beaten. Saint I have to admit that was a very nice move and very slick, but was it worth it? Would you do it all over again to receive the same butt whooping that Bailey put on you? For you to embarrass me is one thing, but when you embarrass the World Champion, then you made a mistake. This Sunday is not about you Saint but I will not forget you. I am waiting for the time you and I step into the ring one on one for this title to show you what a true champion is all about.
Immune stands up leaving the title there on the carpet. Once again he walks out into the other room. After a short time he comes back with a screwdriver and a picture frame. The picture frame is wider than most to place a thicker substance in it. He lays the picture frame on the carpet by the title belt. He grabs the screwdriver and unscrews the back of it. The back piece comes off and he lays it on the floor next to him. he then picks up the championship belt and places it gold plate first and folds the leather straps in a neat way. He then lays the back piece back on the picture frame and screws it back on. He flips it over on the carpet and we can see right through it, as it says Immune North American Champion on it. Immune stands it up and places his foot on the frame. He begins to speak.
Immune: Ever since I beat Creeper for this championship, people have made excuses for my success. People are saying I stand no fair chance in a fight one on one. One of those people is Valor superstar ZMaster. He prances around saying I don’t deserve this title around my waist. The whole circumstances are he is jealous because I capture gold and cost him gold in pretty much the same time frame. ZMaster I know you sit at home at night and wonder where you went wrong. That is a very easy question I can answer for you. We were supposed to be a team, but all you cared about was yourself. All you cared about was making a name for yourself by capturing the World Championship here in Valor. When you agree to a friendship and a partnership you are supposed to think about that before success and fame. We could have fought through the roster and made quiet a name for ourselves as a team. The only problem is when Mr. Lynch looked at you in the eye and offered you an opportunity to go for World Championship gold you had to take it. Did you try to get me an opportunity or anything like that? No all you thought about was yourself and how great you would become. Well ZMaster as you see now, I am the one succeeding and you are the one picking up scraps at the bottom of the food chain.
Immune picks up the frame and walks over to the fireplace. Immune places the frame on the wall. He takes a few steps back and concentrates on the frame. He rubs his rough chin and begins to chuckle. He then turns slowly at us and begins to speak.
Immune: You talk about my way of chickening out to the Impact Players a lot ZMaster. You talk about them backing me up in all my matches. Well I am not going to disagree with you ZMaster. They do have my back in every match. You know why? Because that is what real friends are for. They watch my back and I watch theirs. I am the North American Champion, and I am the ruler of this championship. Now you realized I stole your dream of becoming Valor World Champion so you come for my championship? Well this is going to be a match to end all wars. I am going to bury you in front of all these people and walk out of Deadly Encounters still North American Champion. This Sunday has nothing to do with Deadly Encounters though. This is a match between the Impact Players vs. three men I have beaten in the middle of the ring. I was the one that ruined Hardcastle’s return match. I was the one that stole Creeper’s precious baby away from him. I was the one that crushed your dream ZMaster. I am a well known competitor around the world, no thanks to you ZMaster, but thanks to Bailey.
He grabs the briefcase and closes the top of it. He locks the latches on the briefcase to secure the closing. He grabs it by the handle and walks up to the belt hanging on the wall. He points at it and begins to speak.
Immune: Many people have attempted to take this away from me and everyone has failed. Hardcastle had his shot on his return match and I crushed my competition. No matter how I won the point is I walked out the winner and still the champion. Now I must go through a hellacious battle with the Prodigal Messiah once again and it is going to be hell. Then I have beaten Creeper with no problem. He is just a big ape that tries to scare people. You are looking into the face of immortality. I am not scared of anything, especially not someone that has his children speak for him because he is camera shy. Then I come to you once again ZMaster. The match between two ex-best friends. I am a man on a mission to make this match as painful for you as possible. With the Impact Players backing me up I know we can’t lose. Then once again all three of you will come crashing to defeat handed to you by the Impact Players.
Immune straightens up the picture frame and then walks out of the room. He walks to the front door and we make our exit. Immune closes the door behind him and turns around and locks the door. He then begins walking to the back of the house where his car is parked. He gets in and starts the ignition. He rolls down the window and begins to speak.
Immune: That belt is not going to be moved until someone defeats me or until I buy a new house. All and all the chances of me losing it is slim to none so I guess it is there for a very long time. ZMaster, Hardcastle, Saint, or even Creeper stands no chance of taking that title away from me now or in the future. They need to move on and shoot for lesser goals in their lives. I am unbeatable and I am the animal of Valor. I am the North American Champion. I am a member of the greatest known faction anywhere, the Impact Players. I am all of that and so much more. Why? You might ask. Because I am that damn good and I am the beast of wrestling. I am Immune! Untied and ready to be unleashed. Come Slam the chains will be removed and this animal is hungry not just for blood but for careers as well.
Immune rolls up the window and slams the transmission into gear. He squeals his tires all the way to the street. He turns onto the street and then drives down the road. We cut to commercial staring at the newly built house and notice a sign that says, “Still under Construction.”
