{The scene comes into focus over a circling Ferris Wheel, rusted by old age. It moves slower than most Ferris Wheels in the world and piercingly creaks as each of the faded seats sway back and forth. Each seat is vacant, but the ride is still continuing. The ride begins to go slower and slower until it finally reaches a halt. Beside the Ferris Wheels is a white booth that controls the ride. ‘The Carny‘ Ethan Toxic steps out from inside the booth. He‘s dressed in a coat and dark beanie, prepared for the cold, Autumn weather. His hands hide in the pockets of his coat, as usual and he steps around, slowly beside the Ferris Wheel. As he looks up, examining the old ride, he speaks:}
”The word ‘havoc‘ means chaos, mayhem, destruction. When I think of the word ‘havoc‘, I basically think of my life. It has bean chaotic. It has been pure mayhem. It has been destructive. I lost so much, I gained so little. My home was a Circus Tent, I was meant to sleep next to caged animals that smelled so vile through the night, but normally I just wondered the towns to see where normal kids slept. I knew something wasn‘t right about my life. Of course, sleeping with caged animals wasn‘t my first clue. The death of my mother and the pathetic man that claimed to be my father helped me to realize that this was no normal life. This was wrong, very wrong.
I began to sneak around this place at night and see illegal drug deals with the mastermind of this Carnival, who was named Sebastian. He turned me into some criminal, a thief…stealing money from innocent visitors of our Carnival. I saw many and soon became a helpless victim of profit. I was probably the youngest of all the ‘carnies‘ in this place, but I was nowhere near as dense as most. I knew that seeing children steal and watching parents die and all the acts behind the curtain were not supposed to happen to normal people, but I survived through it all.”
{“The Carny“ Ethan Toxic walks over to a gate, opening it and walking up a few steps to approach the old Ferris Wheel. He walks up to it and sits on one of the faded seats. The seat creaks back and forth, adjusting to his weight.}
”When I think of ‘Havok‘ from Valor, I think of a small child. Dense and afraid. I think of a young man that doesn‘t know who he is. I think of a bland human being who has no personality. He‘s just roaming the earth, trying to play a character for the audience to enjoy, he‘s not real. He plays a face, sucking up to his opponents and trying to make friends when he’s really just acting as this fake personality that he just randomly chose the name ’Havok’ for. So when I think of Havok, I think of very weak child that is spoiled and scared. Let‘s see what happens to you, Havok when you face a brave, young boy that‘s lived through real havoc, ‘The Carny‘ Ethan Toxic.”
{Ethan slams down the guard that keeps people from falling out of the seats of the Ferris Wheel and with a loud creak, the ride starts up, raising ‘The Carny‘ into the air as the scene fades to black.}
