<The scene opens and its pitch black. The sound of creeking metal can be heard, accented by heavy breathing. The camera man's footsteps, echo with each step. Suddenly, a click is heard, as a large spotlight illuminates and the camera man is caught off guard, as a large steel and mesh cage is in his view. Inside this cage is Eric Hardcastle. The door is padlocked shut and Hardcastle stands with his back turned towards the camera man. The camera man comes closer to the steel and is suddenly, ambushed by Hardcastle. Eric quickly swings a 180 and lunges towards the steel. He grabs the cage and begins to shake the door, as the padlock smashes into the steel, causing a loud echo throughout this empty warehouse. A look of animalistic hunger comes over Eric, as he stares into the camera, relasing the cage door.>
Eric Hardcastle: We are just five days away. Just five days. Five days until Halloween Horrors and the Cage of Horrors main event. Two teams of five will collide, inside the Cage of Horrors. But who will emerge victorious? You know, I can't honestly say that there will be any true winners and losers. There'll be survivors and there'll be casualties. Not winners. Not losers.
<Eric begins to walk along side of the steel cage.>
Eric Hardcastle: Hardened steel. Steel used to keep everyone in and everyone else.....out. Ten put into the confines of a double ring, double steel cage. Each person trying to gain a sense of revenge on another. But the bottom line is this. Bailey's Brigade has no real interest in Cage of Horrors. In fact, if they had their way........this match wouldn't even be happening. Because you see, The Impact Players don't "play" fair. No. You see, they like to play the numbers game. There is no such thing as one on one. It has to be two on one or three on one. That's what they are best at. Unfortunately, in five days, it will be five on five. No more. No less. The Impact Players will not be able to capitalize on the numbers game. They will be relegated to play fair.
<Eric stops and pauses for a moment.>
Eric Hardcastle: But what's really fair?
<Eric smiles.>
Eric Hardcastle: Inside this steel cage............everything is fair. What happens inside the steel will never be forgotten. It will never be able to be erased from recent memory. Because Disney World will not be the next stop for the winners of Cage of Horrors..........the emergency room will be the next stop. And the next stop for the losers of Cage Of Horrors will not be their hotel room.............the morgue will be their next stop. We're not talking about just steel here. We are talking about weapons of all sorts. Kendo sticks, trash cans, baseball bats, you name it! It will all be fair. It will all be legal. Legality is something I was very concerned with.
<Eric leans his entire body, face forward against the steel cage.>
Eric Hardcastle: You know, the whole faking my death had a major purpose. It was more than just to get that element of surprise. It was about righting a wrong. It was about not being able to go back in time and having to deal with it right now in the present and tomorrow in the future.
<Eric pushes off the cage and stands in the center of the cage. The camera zooms in.>
Eric Hardcastle: It was about................YOU BRANDON BAILEY!!! It was about getting revenge on what you did to your sister, Brittney. It was about making you experience a pain ten times of what you put her through. And it was about breaking your soul in two! And that's exactly what I intend to do. I intend to step into the Cage of Horrors in five days and destroying you. Not just you, but the entire Impact Players.
<Eric shakes his head.>
Eric Hardcastle: You had to know, Brandon. You had to know that I would stop at nothing to get my revenge. To get revenge for your attempted MURDER OF YOUR OWN SISTER!!! You had to know that I would not sit idly by and watch your rampant destruction of Valor and your seemingly inhumane throttle of the entire roster! Even you Brandon Bailey, had to know that this day was coming. I bet on that faithful day, several weeks ago, when you saw me struck by that car.............you must have had a sense of ease come over you. You must have felt, for the first time in a long time, a little less edgy. A sense of comfort came over you, almost like a freshly dried linen. Now that sense of comfort is gone. The smell of a freshly dried linen has turned to the stench of rotting eggs. The same stench, you have spent the last two weeks trying to clean off yourself. But you can't. You can't get the stench off. Shower after shower. Bath after bath. And nothing.....ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.....helps. And now.....its about to get worse. In five days, Brandon Bailey. In five days.........you will be trapped inside a steel cage, much like this one. And standing across from you.................The Prodigal Messiah. Your nose will curl, as the stench reaches its peak. Brandon, that will the moment that you finally realize, your reign of terror is coming to an end. The mountain will be transformed into nothing more than a shallow valley. Brandon, five more days. Four more days, you get to enjoy that thing you call life. Because on that fifth day, be prepared to walk through hell. Be prepared to be engulfed in that stench. And that stench is nothing less than your ultimate............FEAR!!!!
<Eric lunges forward towards the cage. He presses his face against the steel and whispers.>
Eric Hardcastle: Five.......more.........days.
<Eric falls to his knees, as his face is pressed hard against the steel cage. His eye lids comes close, as his body slumps on the cold cement floor. His hands continues to hold onto the mesh steel, only to lose their grip and they slide downward as well. The screen fades to black.>
