Fade in to the private estate of the somewhat humbled Will Dinero. It looks like were located in his his theatre room because a tape of Valor Before Glory is playing on a movie screen. The red plush chairs line the room, but they are completely empty. The only person in the room, is the oh so sexy Money Man. He's sitting in the front row with a bucket of popcorn, legs crossed, smiling, watching his match with Shane Quickenbosh. While his eyes are still glued to the action, The Money Man decides to grace us with his comments.
"This really was a great match Shane. Not our best work, definitely not my best, but a great match. This is probably the fifth time I've watched our match this week, and I still can't get enough of it. Not because it was so entertaining, but because I too am a student of the game. I have plenty to do to keep me busy during the week, but I spend late nights studying footage of everyone I face...That's why I was so surprised that I lost to you Shane. Don't get me wrong, I'm not content with it, but I'm moving forward and learning from my past mistakes. That's why I'm burning this match into my mind for any future interests."
On the screen, Shane Quickenbosh hits Dinero with a Shining Wizard, but doesn't get the pin. Dinero stares and that million dollar smile flashes again.
"You were pretty serious about this match Shane. I mean you hit me with about three or four of your finishers and barely got the pin, but I'm all about the bottom line. In business, the bottom line is the almighty dollar. In wrestling, it's the win; and you my friend, got that bottom line. So my hat's off to you for a resounding success and your second victory in Valor."
Dinero stops smiling and replaces it with a look of bewilderment.
"Shane, you mentioned this already, but I must express my confusion as well. The last thing I expected to happen after our match was for the booking team to put the both of us on the same team. Now while I'm humble enough to take my loss in stride, I'm having a hard time comprehending this decision. I expected a rematch to be announced, but this? You're my tag team partner? It's pretty obvious that this doesn't sit well with me, but because I am a consumate professional, I will tie my boots and tag with you. I'm a winner, and I plan to get back on that track, even if it is with you. I guess my biggest issue is that we're being opposed by two nobodies in my book. Havok and Shane O'Riley."
Valor's example of financial success looks back at the match on his movie screen and pops a few kernels of popcorn in his mouth.
"Nobodies Quickenbosh. I know you're a good guy and all, but this has to get even you hot under the collar. We just gave the VWA the match of the year, and what do we get for our trouble? Havok and O'Riley. One gave his whole life story in a E! True Hollywood Story, the other's head is stuck up his own ass because he kisses it so much. I'm not happy with this result. I'm a top talent. I'm not a piece of litmus paper here to test out the quality of the new Valor talent, if you want to call them that. I mean, Havok...a young guy with potential, but he obviously has a bunch of personal issues that need to be ironed out before he steps in the ring. He wasted my time with how he got here, and what he had to go through to get here. I guess he didn't realize that I could care less. Havok must have had a concussion from that unknown Valor training camp, otherwise he would have heard me tell you that I don't appreciate people wasting my time. Looks like I have to show him the consequences of his actions. It's a shame too; nobody likes to lose their first match in a new fed."
Quickenbosh gets the pin on the screen and Dinero motions to the guy running the projector to run it again. He focuses all his attention to the camera now.
"We also have to deal with someone who shares your first name Quickenbosh, but not your talent. Shane O'Riley. Who? This guy barges in here with some random belt around his waist from some random company with no clout or prestige in Valor, and expects people to make way for him. Who are you? Why do you think anybody here cares about that piece of tin around your waist? You're a champion in another fed, not Valor, and you won't be. O'Riley, you still have a lot to prove here, but your attitude only makes people that much more motivated to stomp you in to the ground. It sucks pretty much, and I don't enjoy having to face people with unproven talent with the personality of a wet sock."
The screen starts to flicker again and Dinero's match pops back up on the screen.
"Havok, O'Riley...Quickenbosh is a nice guy. He's not going to say the things he may feel; unlike me. I'm a different breed because I didn't start off with the demeanor that I have now. I've always been calm and collective, but I wasn't a nice guy. I'm still not a nice guy in the ring, but I'm trying. I'm trying real hard to be the guy who's outgoing personality reflects both in and out of the ring; but it's difficult. It becomes even more difficult when I'm forced into unacceptable situations. I'm a businessman though, and I know when life throws you lemons, make lemonade. So I'm going to squeeze the life out both Havok and O'Riley, but I won't stop there. I'm going to make a profit off of your loss. It's business baby, and I'm all about the bottom line."
Dinero flashes his million dollar grin again and studies the match one more time.
