:: Matt Mayhem sits at a small table in an old dumpy apartment.He has his head in his hands as he looks down at the floor,he looks up and runs his hands through his hair. ::
"At Thunder,i lost my first match in Valor by count out.I made a mistake,i f***ed up.And since that bell ring and i heard Havok being announced the winner i've begun to think over everything ive done since i got here.All i've done is make myself seem like im the greatest thing to walk this planet,when in truth im just like everyone else.I act like i never make mistakes,but my opponents do.I was so wrong with that statement.I'm just like everyone else,i make mistakes too.Havok you proved that and for that i thank you because,i realize now i needed a reality check."
:: Mayhem grabs a can of Pepsi and takes a quick drink before putting it back down. ::
"When i got back home and i had alot more time to think.I realize now that i've made more mistakes then i thought i ever did.My first match in this buisness i made a big mistake.I had just taken my opponent down with a Piledriver.I jumped up and began taunting the crowd like crazy.Suddenly im on my back 123,its over.I lost to Petey Dennison,a man who never won a match in his 28 year career until his match with me."
:: Scott then grabs a WV promotions belt that he held once.It's the Mason-Dixon Wrestling World Tag Team Championship belt. ::
"This belt,the only belt i've held in my career,was lost by a mistake made by me.Ofcourse i blamed my partner.But here's how i lost the belts for me and my partner.We we're facing G.A.Y. a very talented team from WV.My partner,Dre Cosby had been taking several tag team moves and finally made the tag.I got in there and i went crazy on them.Dre finally got rested up and wanted to hit our Suplex and Flying Crossbody tag team finisher.I said hold on for a minute as i wanted to his my Suplex to Neckbreaker on one of our opponents.Well as i held the opponent in the air for an extra few seconds my opponents partner got up and attacked Dre knocking him off the apron.I lower my opponent for the Neckbreaker just as his partner slides in the ring and attacks me.Well after a few forearms they get me with a Sidewalk Slam and Reverse DDT for the win."
:: Mayhem lays the belt on the table. ::
"Since that night i told myself those weren't my mistakes.It was my opponents cheating or my partners not being their for me.But finally now that i am in a place that truly is the big time i realize that they were my mistakes and its time for me to step up and accept them.It's time for me to admit that i make mistakes like everyone else."
:: Mayhem takes another drink of Pepsi. ::
"But,As my mother always says "One little mistake may seem huge,but you always learn from them and try to avoid them from there on out."And i agree completely because even though i made one mistake i've learned from it.And i'm going to prove that by never making it again.And Jackyl when we have our match at the Tuesday Night Slam special your facing a man who has had a revelation.A man who has learned from his past mistakes."
:: Mayhem stands up and takes the MDW Tag Belt into the other room.The camera follows him as he sits down on his couch. ::
"And now that you all know the meanings of my past actions.And for some of the people who are a little slow,Why i was acting like a jackass since i got to VWA.I would like to say i'm sorry because im just like all of you,except for the slow ones.And Jackyl i want to say good luck in our match at Slam.May the best man win."
:: Mayhem lays down on the couch and pulls a blanket off the back.He lays it across his lower body and midsection. ::
"But we all know im going to hit the Mayhem Cutter for the 1,2,3!!"
