The scene opened outside of the empty Valor arena. There were a few cars in the parking lot and lights are finally starting to turn on. A few cars pull up around the back, apparently they’re wrestlers. One car, a Rolls Royce, pulls up very slowly towards the back. It has got RY on the front and the car is sticking out from the normal sports cars, driven by the wrestlers. Out steps Ryan Young who has on a white t-shirt and gym shorts, with a bag in his hands. He steps around the back of the car then taps on the back glass twice and the car drives off, leaving Young walking to the entrance. He heads through the hallways and into his locker room. He looks around and sets his bags down in front of one of his lockers. He flips on the TV and notices a promo is on the VWA 24/7 channel, and the man looks like one of his opponents for this week. Sure enough, it is, it’s the Loverboy and he pays attention to his promo very closely. He watches as the scene fades out then lets out a deep breath.

Well, Mr. Williams I noticed a few things that you got wrong there in your little promo. See, first off this isn’t our chance for greatness, this is my chance for it. See you are nothing to me right now. I see you as another pawn in this little game of chess, you’re there but you don’t really matter. Right now I’m focused on your little partner, Martin. See he is a big name here in VWA, a fairly big name. And when I take him down, along with you, on Thursday night, that’s when I’m going to become a big name. See you winning in your debut here doesn’t mean anything to me, and I’m pretty sure nobody else back here gives a shit about it either. This is all me right now, I could seriously care less about you, your brother, or my partner right now. I don’t even know who this Jackyl guy is; all I know is that if he drops the ball for my team…I’m going to have something to say about that. So as long as you stay out of my way, I have no problem with you. But if you decide that you want to be a big-shot and take out The Young Gun in your debut, you’ve got another thing coming kid. See you’re not even on par with me punk, you’re nothing in my books and you really have no meaning to me in this match…you aren’t even there in my eyes. So you can do your own damn thing, you can dish out the pain to Jackyl, hell you can even cripple him. But if he is pinned and ruins this for me, he’s going to be in a lot more pain than you can ever dish out to him. And you, if you try and pull anything quick on ME then you will know the true meaning of pain. See, I’ve dealt with little pricks like you before, come in here thinking they’ve got a score to settle with somebody, then their vision is skewed and they focus on making a name for themselves in their big debut, that’s when it all goes to hell. You get a big head and you think that you can take down somebody you can’t, and then you get hurt.
See I worked through an injury last week, a possible career ending one. I came out to that ring and wrestled like my life was on the line, like my entire career was on the line. But that one mistake in the ring earlier lost me the match. That neck injury lost it for me. See you can’t do anything without your neck, you saw Steve Austin. He used to be an incredible technical wrestler, after Owen messed up his neck all you got was punches, a Lou Thez press, and a Stunner, then the match was done. When your neck is out you have nothing else to do in your career, you’re done for. So when you wrestle through it you are not only putting your career on the line, but possibly your life. So nobody can tell me that I’m not dedicated to what I do. And you Mr. Williams, you’re going to get a nice little shock when the Young Gun comes out of nowhere and takes you out of the match. What’s “The Extremist” Martin Pain going to do when it hits him and takes him down? I’ll tell you what…..nothing. Once it hits you you’re out like a light. So before you go around talking trash to people you’ve never stepped into the ring with, get a little background info on em, ‘k loverboy?
Young slowly gets up from the couch and rubs his neck slowly, still a little sore from the injury he suffered the week before. He heads into the bathroom to change into his ring attire and he hears some talking outside of the door and realizes that its almost time for the show to start. He lets out another long breath and gets ready for another battle, another match, and another possible career ender. With that neck injury, it could happen anytime, or anywhere, so you’ve got to be careful with it. He hears Pains music hitting and he nods then begins to sprint down the halls and heads to the curtains. “One of A Kind” hits and he says out loud “It’s the Hotshot baby!” then heads through the curtains and the scene fades out.
