*Outside, The wind is howling and the windows are shaking. Snow is blowing and piling up on the window sill. It appears bitterly cold outside and no sane human being would be able to survive outside in that kind of conditions. Inside, it is a different story. The interior is a comfortable warmth equal to room temperature on any given normal summer day. However, this is obviously not a normal summer’s day but rather an un-seasonal summer’s day or a standard winter day. The camera whips around to reveal pictures hung on the wall around a fire pit. A title belt sits on the mantle of the fire pit. The camera moves closer to the fire pit to reveal that it is none other then the WFWF International championship. The pictures show a man on the top rope holding the belt sitting on the mantle above his head. The camera swings around to show a man sitting on a chair by the fire pit with his head looking to the ground. The man has a brown liquid that is clearly carbonated as a light fizzing sound is heard coming from the man. The man is dressed in black velvet night shirt and black pants. The man has his hair slightly dampened and combed back. The man swirls the liquid around in his cup and it fizzes over and splashes on the ground and on his black socks. The man sighs and places the cup on a mahogany table to this right. The man stands up but does not look into the camera but instead, he walks far off to the other end of the cabin and takes a right down an entrance way and out of sight of the camera. The man comes back into view with a towel in his hand. Three drops of water comes from the tip of the mans jet black hair. The man tosses the towel on the area that the liquid was spilled and presses it down with his foot, moving it around for a few seconds before picking it up and tossing it by the fire pit, barely missing the inside of the fire pit. The man doesn’t bother repositioning it and instead sits down and continues staring at the ground. The man picks up his cup but instead of drinking from it he stands up and walks off again. This time the camera follows him and shows him walking into a kitchen. The kitchen doesn’t appear to appeasing to the eye with rust stains running down the faucet and a kitchen table barely able to support it. The kitchen does however have a dishwasher and a gas stove. The kitchen is so out of place with the rest of the house. The man places the cup into the sink and turns the faucet to the left and water comes rushing out replacing the brown carbonated beverage with an opaque white. The water from the faucet smells of sulfur and does not appear to be safe to drink. The man lets out another sigh and looks directly into the camera. This man looks ever so familiar but the man looks tired, bruised and beaten. This man appears to be an over-worked Justin Tyme. Justin stands leaning against the kitchen “counter” and appears to be in deep thought. He looks away from the camera for about 15 seconds and looks back into it. Justin manages to eek out a smile rather a half grin. Justin walks over to the dishwasher and places the cup into it. He turns a knob and the sound of water rushing in fills the room. The man coughs and looks right back into the camera. He now looks poised to speak and he begins to do so.*
Justin: Eric…. Hardcastle. That is one name that I shall never forget for as long as I live…. Eric Hardcastle. You seem to think that you are fit to call yourself “Valor’s Prodigal Messiah” but we all know that it is just a fancy nickname like this that gets you recognized by the fans. But the truth is, if you are truly talented, you don’t need to hide yourself behind any fancy nicknames. Take me for example; I don’t need to dub myself anything other then Justin Tyme why? Because my talent in the ring speaks volumes for myself and when the hear the name Justin Tyme at that arena, they know that this man after all, that is why I am where I am. But Mr. Hardcastle, even the greatest fighters have to train when fighting other great fighters. You are a great fighter no doubt but I am a greater fighter. You look at Rocky, he trained intense and hard in his bouts against Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang and Ivan Drago and Rocky is considered one of the greatest most inspirational fighters in my eyes at least. These men were spectacular fighters but Rocky trained hard and overcame the odds. Eric Hardcastle, I am a fighter like Rocky, no matter how much you beat the living S-H-I etcetera out of me I will keep coming back until you become weak and that is when I will deliver that final knockout blow. Eric Hardcastle, incase you don’t know what I mean when I say “that is why I’m here.” I will show you what I mean.
*Justin Tyme walks towards the door but stops to put a parka on. Justin buttons up the jacket and pulls up the hood. Justin then opens the door and snow blasts through the door way as though it was waiting on the door steps. Justin points off in the distance.*
Justin: See that Hardcastle? Those are the mountains. Look around, what do you see? Nothing but snow. That Hardcastle is arctic tundra and this my friend is Siberia in Russia. This is the exact spot that Rocky used to train for his biggest fight in his career and how fitting is it that this is where I am because despite how much I despise you Hardcastle, you are the biggest challenge that I had and this is my first singles Main Event ever. And it is against you Eric Hardcastle.
*Justin turns around and opens the door back inside the cabin. Justin takes off the parka and tosses it onto the couch. Justin turns back into the camera; the bruises on his faces are more evident now that he has been outside in the bitter cold. Justin’s smile immediately disappears from his face. He begins to speak.*
Justin: Hardcastle, you look at this face and tell me I haven’t been training hard. This normally beautiful face has been ravaged in sparring training. You see Eric, I have waited my whole time in Valor to get my hands on you and now I have that opportunity. A great philosopher and a great man Rocky Balboa once said “A mans best friend is fear and it isn’t a thing to be embarrassed about. And fear is like this fire and if you learn to control it, it’s going to make you hot but if fear controls you, it’s going to burn you and everything around you up.” Hardcastle, I know that you are nervous, maybe even a little scared and so am I but the difference between you and me is that I am not afraid to let fear control me and come Slam, I’m going to let it burn you and me both up and the last man standing is going to walk out of there on his own. So Ivan Hardcastle… Eric…. Come slam, who is the one going to come out on top and who is going to go back to basics. I am done the rookie sparring stuff and I am ready as I’m ever going to be. The real question is are you up for the challenge? Ivan Drago thought he had it in the bag but it turns out he was wrong and come slam, the same thing will happen to you?
*Justin Tyme goes to grab his parka but instead puts on his white sweater hanging on the wall. He then throws on his leather jacket and black toque and if you were to do a double take, Justin would look like Rocky with longer hair. Justin goes trudging through the snow as the scene fades out.*
